If you asked Marlene what her relationship with Liam was like, she'd say it was okay. The two hadn't really hung out alone together and seemed to only really hang out when Frank was around.
But when Liam comes back from yet another foster home and...
"Shall I look for him?" Frank asked, getting ready to stand up.
Mike shook his head. "No, no. He's just a bit late home for his tea." He explained. "He's probably running home right now."
"He'll be fine, Mike. It's Liam, you know what he's like." Marlene said as the man walked away. Once he was gone she pushed Toby out the seat, sitting on it herself and continuing the now paused game.
The two immediately broke into an argument, ignoring Mike who had came back in trying to get them to clean the kitchen.
"You pushed me off the chair! That hurt!" Toby yelled, attempting to push the girl back.
Marlene rolled her eyes. "You'll get over it, Toby. Besides you were hogging the computer and I was bored."
"Well you should have waited for your turn."
"I've been waiting on my turn for the last forty two minutes!"
"You're just being dramatic."
"Dramatic? Do you want to see dramatic?"
"Cut it out you two!" Mike yelled, pushing the two apart who had grown close as if ready to fight. "Neither of you will be playing the computer until the kitchen is cleaned."
The two ignored him, each running back to the computer, pushing each other on their way as they attempted to get there first.
Noticing the two still fighting, Mike sighed, making his way over to once again break them up. "Kitchen, now!"
Once Mike had left, presumably to attempt to get the rest of the house to help clean up the kitchen, Sapphire entered.
"Marls, you coming?" She asked. The two had planned on going out that night.
"Yeah."She smiled. "See you guys later." She waved, no longer bothered about about the argument or the computer.
As the two walked by Mike, he was quick to stop them. "You two are not going out, I'm Serious." He told them before rushing out to break up a sword fight Tee and Johnny had been having.
The two girls shared a look, shrugging and continuing to leave the house, slamming the door on their way out.

"So, that boy you were texting, it wouldn't have been Jack would it?" Sapphire asked, a grin on her face. It wasn't hard to tell Marlene was crushing on Jack, and from what she'd heard from his older sister, he wasn't much different.
