A blush was quick to cover Marlene's face whilst she avoided eye contact with the older girl. "No one." She shrugged. Sapphire raised her brow, "just some boy from school. It's not a big deal."

But it was a big deal, to her anyways. Jack Wyatt's had joined the school only a few months ago and Marlene had been crushing hard on him ever since.

The two had been paired for a project together a few weeks ago. Even though the project was long since finished the two had continued to text near enough everyday.

Thankfully the conversation was interrupted, saving Marlene from any further embarrassment as Mike frantically beckoned everyone over. "Come here, everybody, look at this! Look!"

"Why? Who is she?" Lily asked as everyone gathered around the television where a woman, not much older than them was holding a book dressed in a silver glittery jacket.

"It's Tracy Beaker" Mike said sounding astonished. "She used to live here!" Mike explained, gesturing his hands wildly, his enlarged eyes never leaving the tv.

The group were still confused why some ex care kid would be on their television. "Is she an actress?" Tee asked, sounding excited.

Mike shook his head. "No, she's writing a book!" He corrected, still staring dazed at the tv.

"Lovely." Marlene rolled her eyes, leaning back on the couch and scrolling on her phone once more.

"What's all the excitement about?" Gina asked, walking into the living room and seeing everyone gathered around the television, laughing.

The kids immediately broke into excited yells as they explained who Tracy was and what she had done. Sapphire and Marlene shared a bored look, not caring all that much.

"Toby, give me a turn!" Marlene moaned from where she stood besides Toby

"Toby, give me a turn!" Marlene moaned from where she stood besides Toby. Frank was sat in a chair on the youngest boys opposite side, the two watching him play a game on the computer. Marlene had since grown bored and decided she wanted a turn.

Toby shook his head, not even sparing her a glance. "Later" he waved off.

Marlene glared, about to reply when Mike came over a some what concerned look on his face.

"Frank!" He said, crouching down in front of the boy. "Have you seen Liam today?"

"No, why?" Frank asked as Toby finally pulled away from the computer, a concerned look on his face.

Noticing this, Mike was quick to reassure him. "Nothings happens to him, Toby. Ive just for his foster parents on the phone." He paused, turning to Marlene. "You haven't saw him, have you?"

She shook her head. "Not in a couple of weeks." She shrugged. She hadn't saw or spoke to Liam since the last time she went with Frank to meet up with him.
