Despite the attack only being a couple days ago classes would be resuming as normal. Maybe it was the slacker in you but you were certainly disappointed school wasn't closed for longer since you had many, many more days of sleep to catch up on. Still you couldn't totally complain since it's nearly the weekend and you had finished all your current assignments. Plus, being cooped up in your apartment all day would mean missing out on this wonderful spring morning.

You had perched yourself on the open windowsill next to your desk, leaving one leg on the ledge while the other dangled off the edge. The breeze hitting your face was cool, being balanced out by the sun shining down on you, leaving you perfectly happy and content on your window sill.

"L/N!"

Dang it.

You face back to the classroom, spotting a stern looking Ida approaching you, in his odd, robotic like stride. "Get down from the window now! Not only is it disrespectful but it's dangerous! Have you learned nothing?" He exclaims, rapidly chopping his arms at you. Knowing how relentless this stickler can be you give in as quite frankly your in a good enough mood that you don't want to ruin it by getting frustrated over petty shit.

Ida, polite as ever, thanks you for your cooperation then heads to the front of the class, ordering everyone else to sit down and prepare for class to begin. Which brings up a very good question... who's teaching home room? You're not the only one to think about it and the room once more becomes abuzz with theories on who will take over home room while Aizawa's recovering. However, you along with the rest of the class are shocked as a nearly completely bandaged Aizawa opens the door to the classroom.

"Morning." He greets in his signature, blank tone. The class is understandably concerned and astonished that Aizawa showed up today, but he brushes it off and everyone is soon to forget about it when he announces the upcoming school festival.

Shit....

Why is only occurring to you now that you'll be participating in the U.A. sports festival? No seriously how? The U.A. sports festival is one of the most highly televised events of the year, hell you watch it every year, how could you forget that this time it'll be you on that stage? And as Yaoyorozu points out, pro heroes from across the country will be watching, scouting for potential new sidekicks such as yourself.

To put it simply it's a big deal.

Later on when the bell rings to signal the start of lunch, students are quick to group up with their friends, eager to discuss the upcoming sports festival. You on the other hand, grab your bag and move to leave the classroom, deciding to get an iced coffee from one of the vending machines in the hallways before you head to the stair well. The hallway is loud more so than usual, but even amongst the chaos you can still make out that they're all talking about the sports festival.

"L/N!" You don't bother turning around, already knowing it's Kirishima who's calling after you with Bakugo, Kaminari and Sero behind him. "Man I'm so excited for the sports festival! This is going to be great." He exclaims pumping his fist into the air.

"Fun is one way to describe it I guess." You say distantly, your mind already mulling over the hundreds of possibilities that could happen at the sports festival, like coming first... or dead last. Winning although attractive is unlikely and outright losing in one of the first rounds would be embarrassing. You'll be happy to at least land on the podium.

"Dude are you sick or something? Where's that grouchy L/N we're all used to?" Kaminari jokes, throwing an arm over you.

"Do you want me to be grouchy? Cause you're saying all the right things." You growl shrugging his arm off of you. "And no I'm not sick, just have a lot on my mind with the festival and all."
