Part time kidnappers

Pt. 1

POV Lilly:

Finally, the school bell rings. Everyone is quickly heading home, and so do I. While I'm walking home, I see someone is walking behind me.

When I walked past the park, I saw the man still walking behind me, I began to walk faster. So did he. I was so scared. I began to run, but that was the biggest mistake I could make at that moment. I bumped into someone, he was fully clothed in black. I looked up terrified. I looked into his eyes, do I know this guy..? But for thinking it was too late, the other person who was following me pressed a towel into my face, I knew this wasn't good. I tried to not breathe in any poison of the towel. But they noticed that and pushed me onto my knees, it hurt so bad that I had to gasp for air. When I did that, everything was getting black.

POV Max:

We lifted Lilly into the bus, I can't believe that we did this. 'Luca, maybe this isn't the right way.' I said. 'Listen max, he asked us to do this. We can't just stop the whole plan.' I don't know why, but this feels odd. She looks so... so scared. She will unlock a new trauma because of us. When we had laid down Lilly on the backseats, I began to think. Are we criminals now? No max, just shut up. It's for the greater good. It's better for everyone. It's better for her and that is the most important part. We are doing this for her, she will live a better life after this.

I drove and Luca sat next to Lilly, just to make sure that she wouldn't wake up and start screaming or something. We arrived at the house where we live with the five of us: Me, Luca, Joey, Nick and Tom. We are a friend group and we're really close. At the beginning of 2022, we started living together. I opened the front door when Luca lifted Lilly inside. We gently laid her down on the couch, while the others came downstairs. After 5 minutes, I saw Lilly slowly open her eyes. When she realized that she wasn't home, she panicked. She tried to run away but joey stopped her and pulled her along by her arms to the living room. 'Listen Lilly, you won't get away from here, so stop trying!' he said. 'Let's show you your room.' said Nick. We all went above except Tom, who was waiting underneath the stairs. Lilly saw her room, she didn't know if this was a positive or a negative sign. 'Make it feel like your home!' I said. She ignored me, walked into her room and slammed the door, resulting in a huge bang. Jeez, she's mad. Although I did understand it. She must be very scared.

-17:30 PM-

I knocked carefully at Lilly's door. She opened it and looked confused at me with her eyes fully red from crying. When I saw that face I felt guilty. 'Dinner is ready, are you coming?' I asked. 'hm. I'm not hungry.' She said. 'Listen, I know that u are upset but u have to eat.' She looked at me with a death stare. 'hmpf, whatever.' I said and walked downstairs. 5 minutes later, I saw Lilly walking into the living room. I gave her a few slices of pizza. We all tried to start a conversation with her, but she wouldn't talk.

POV Lilly:

Stupid boys, they all tried to talk to me but I wasn't planning to listen. What are they thinking? Kidnapping me and then just pretending like nothing happened and that we've known each other for 10 years?! Yeah, no way. However, one of the boys looks familiar... 'Lilly, you know that you're going to be stuck with us for weeks. You will have to talk one day.' Max said. Maybe he was right. Maybe if I had asked the first second I got here if I could go home in a week I would have known more. 'Why did u guys kidnap me?' I asked for the first time. They all looked surprised at me. I heard them discuss. 'should we tell her?' after some consultation Luca began to speak. 'Well, ehm. This can be a little hard to hear but.. your oldest brother Liam asked us too.' When he told me that, my world began to shrink. This can't be real right? 'B...but Liam passed away 7 years ago... This can't be possible, right?' I stared at the ground in shock. This can't be right, it just can't be!!
