"You decide." I said, shaking my head.
"Tristan it was your idea so you'll act as her boyfriend." Brandon said before he nudged Austin, waking him up.
"Leave me alone." Austin mumbled before turning and leaning against the door.
"We're here dumbass."
"Whatever."
"Come on, T." I said before I opened my door and jumped out. I pushed the door shut with my hip before walking around the car to Tristan.
"Bag, please." I said, holding my hand out. He shook his head before sliding the bag over his shoulder.
"Go on." He said before quickly leaning down and kissing my cheek. I smiled before I turned around and walked up the driveway, Tristan trailing behind me.
As soon as we got on the porch Taylor was standing in front of us basically seething.
"You're late!" She whispered before she closed the door behind her.
"I know, but-"
"Nevermind that! Where are the rest of you?!"
"They're in the car getting themselves together." I said before I quickly fixed a stray piece of hair that was on Taylors forehead.
"Come on. And I told them you were dating my brother so it looked like we were both accomplished and well rounded people." Of course she did.
"That's perfect because we agreed that I would be her boyfriend while we're here." Tristan said with the biggest smile on his face I'd ever seen.
"Alright great, let's go people." Taylor said before pulling both me and Tristan inside.
I was a little shocked to see the lack of people standing around. Taylor made it seem like this was a huge family function, but there's only a few people around. I'm starting to think Taylor was being overdramatic.
"Taylor Lilian Penelope Porter." I looked up at Tristan hearing him whisper Taylor's full name.
"What?"
"There's barely anyone here. Why the fuck are we here, dumbass?" I stepped back because I know better than to get in between those two when they're mad at each other.
"Don't call me a dumbass, dumbass." Taylor grumbled before punching Tristan's arm.
"Don't fuckin-"
"Act right. You two can argue when we all leave." I noticed a girl walking towards us.
She was tall and skinny. Her skin was olive with blotches of red and purple littering her exposed skin. The marks resembled bruises, lots of them. She had on a pair of white shorts and a green crop top. Her hair was long and a multitude of blondes and browns, stopping just above her the arch of her back. Her eyes were light blue and full of excitement. She was honestly very pretty.
"You must be Kalani," She said, smiling at me.
"Willow, this is my brother Tristan and as you've said my best friend Kalani." Taylor said nervously as she looked at the slightly taller woman whose name I've learned is Willow.
"It's so nice to meet you both! I've heard so much about you both." Willow said excitedly.
"Likewise. I've heard all good things from my sister. Seems you've made quite the impression." I could hear the slight tinge of aggravation in his voice as he spoke. But why would he be upset right now? Taylor must have noticed as well because she quickly redirected the conversation to me.
"Kali, I was telling Willow about my family's trip to the mountains this year. Since you and Tristan will be going I was thinking I could bring Willow along. Y'know? Make it a couples thing." Since when was I going on their family trip? My face must've shown my confusion because I felt Tristan slide his hand around my waist.
