He just sighs and groans. "Don't remind me man, I'm dreading tonight. You know what my dad's like, he always goes on and on about how I need to work as hard as possible, how I need to win every single game and be the best of the best. It's exhausting."

"Oh yeah, your dad can be a real piece of work sometimes, can't he? He's intense. I mean, I get it, he's a coach and all that, but God. No offence, man, but he's a real drill sergeant sometimes."

Yeonjun groaned again, leaning back in his chair.

"Don't I know it? He's always on my ass about something. 'You need to work harder, you aren't concentrating enough, you need to score more points.' It's like he's never satisfied. I feel like I already put all my energy into football, and it's never enough."

Finally, the bell rings and Yeonjun practically jumps out of his seat, wanting to get out of there as fast as possible. Jiwoo and the other guys in his class eye him curiously, perplexed by his sudden eagerness to leave

Jiwoo raises an eyebrow at Yeonjun's sudden urgency.

"Woah, what's the rush, man? You got somewhere to be or something?"

Damon shakes his head, trying to act casual.

"Nah, just gotta grab something from my locker. I'll catch up with you guys later."

Jiwoo shrugs, looking a little sceptical but accepting his response.

"Alright dude, suit yourself. See you at practice later."

He quickly gathers his things and hurries out of the room, ignoring the questioning gazes of his friends. He knows he's acting weird, but he doesn't care. He just needs to find Beomgyu.

As he makes his way through the crowded hallway, Yeonjun looks around, trying to spot Beomgyu's small frame through the sea of students.

Finally, he spots a familiar figure walking down the hall. The boy seems lost in thought, his head down and his shoulders slumped. Damon's heart thumps wildly in his chest as he approaches, his mind racing with what he's going to say.

As he gets closer to Beomgyu, he takes a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves. He can feel his heart pounding in his chest, but he tries to ignore it.

"Hey," he says quietly, tapping Beomgyu on the shoulder.

Beomgyu jumps slightly at the unexpected touch, his head whipping around to see who's there. When he sees it's Yeonjun, his eyes widen in surprise, his mouth slightly open.

Yeonjun stuffs his hands in his pockets, trying to look nonchalant. But his heart is racing.

"Uh, can we talk? Somewhere private?"

"T...talk?...w-what for? I-if this is about w-what happened earlier...I-i...I really didn't mean to bump into you...I...it was an accident...I-I'm sorry..." Beomgyu stutters out.

Yeonjun's heart aches as he hears the boy's nervous stutters.

"No, it's not about that...just, please, follow me."

He doesn't give Beomgyu a chance to respond, before grabbing his wrist and leading him down the hall.

Beomgyu follows him, completely bewildered.

"W-where are we going?..."

Yeonjun doesn't answer, just continues to lead him down the hall, until they reach the door of an empty classroom.

"In here." He says, pushing open the door.

He motions for Beomgyu to enter first. As soon as they're both inside, he closes and locks the door behind them.
