Once my mum and dad left I started feeling very down so I decided to go to bed early, hoping to feel better in the morning, I didn't start school again till next week so I have some time to explore the city. Suddenly my door bell rang, expecting it to be one of my neighbours who have come to greet me, I got changed then opened the door only to see my crush of 10 years outside.
"Hello, can I come in?" He asked sheepishly in his breathtakingly cute western London accent.
"Uh sure," I said a bit overwhelmed.
Why was someone who moved back to London 2 years ago in New York City and how did he know where I lived?
"Thank you," he laughed pushing past me and giving me the bouquet of flowers that he was holding.
Although I appreciated the gift, I have hayfever so I had to put the flowers down on the kitchen counter quickly.
"Aww, do to you not like them?" He said in a teasing tone.
"Shut up! I thought you knew I had hay fever!" I shouted narrowing my eyes at him.
He looked at me, confused.
"Oh, I must've forgot, sorry".
