Lunchtime arrives and Beomgyu makes his way to the cafeteria. A slight limp in his walk from what happened earlier. He is alone as usual, sitting down at the table in the corner, and eating his sandwich.

Yeonjun walks into the cafeteria with his friends, eyes landing on the boy in the corner. One of his friends nudges him. "Hey captain, look who's here" Yeonjun looks at the boy, watching him sitting alone.

A weird feeling starts to stirs up in Yeonjun as he looks at the boy sitting there all alone eating his sandwich.

His teammates all look over at the boy as well "He does that every day, just sits there. Like a little loner."

Yeonjun doesn't say anything, just watches as everyone in the room continues to ignore the boy in the corner.

His friends leave to go get their food while he sits down on a table nearby. He keeps his eye on the lonely boy.

Why does he almost feel guilty for what he and his friends did earlier?

Yeonjun just continues to watch the boy, noticing all the tiny details from his distance. The way he sits shyly, how he doesn't look up at anyone, how he quietly eats his lunch.

Yeonjun's teammates sit down with their food. All talking loudly amongst themselves. He keeps his eyes on the boy, not listening to what his friends are saying.

Beomgyu finishes his sandwich, getting up to put his rubbish in the trash.

Yeonjun watches Beomgyu walk over to the trash can, noticing the limp in his walk. He feels a pang of guilt, knowing he is now responsible for the him being injured. But why?

Beomgyu heads to his usual spot outside waiting for the lunch break to end. He sits under the tree outside, taking out his book to read.

Yeonjun excuses himself to leave his friends. He heads outside, looking around for the boy. He spots the boy sitting under the tree and quietly makes his way over.

He reaches the boy and stands in front of him, not saying a word. Just looking down at him with an unreadable expression.

Beomgyu is so lost in his book that he doesn't notice Yeonjun's presence.

Yeonjun just stands there, watching the boy, his nose scrunched slightly as he reads. He can't help but think he looks kind of cute like this.

He takes a moment to admire the boy's beauty from this angle. The way his hair falls on his face, his big eyes focused on the pages, his soft clear skin, his plump pink lips.

He soon snaps himself back to reality. He can't be thinking like this, he can't have an affection for Beomgyu. He clears his throat to try and catch the boy's attention.

The sound quickly pulls Beomgyu out of the trance of his book. He looks up to meet eyes with Yeonjun. He quickly and visibly becomes tense.

Yeonjun notices how the boy tenses upon seeing him. He can't help but feel a pang of guilt again while looking at the boy sitting in front of him. He can't help but think he's so small and defenceless looking like this.

There's a slightly panicked look in Beomgyu's eyes. "I...I...I d-don't want a-any trouble..."

Yeonjun rolls his eyes, seeing the look of panic in the boy's eyes.

"Calm down, I'm not going to hit you," Yeonjun says bluntly.

He looks down at Beomgyu for a moment longer before he lets out a sigh and moves over to sit beside the boy.

Beomgyus's eyes widen as he watches Yeonjun sit down beside him. A look of confusion spread across his face.

"Don't look so confused, I'm only sitting down, it's not like I'm trying to kill you," Yeonjun says in a teasing manner.
