What was that ? I thought as I grogilly sit upright from bed. I really feel so fuzzy right now. MY head hurts from staying late last night because of the meteor shower. Oh yes, THE METEOR SHOWER! It was really beautiful. I smiled as replayed the moments in my head again and again. I don't really know why, but i have soft spots with heavenly bodies, stars and such. .

"Awwwwww !" I flinched while cupping my aching buttocks. . "LAYANNAH?? Are you kidding me?? Papatayin mo na ba talaga ako ??" I asked while looking at my oh-so-retarted-hyper-bestfriend intently. Manggugulat ba naman ?
"Alam mo naman sugurong mataas yung kama ko noh ? At maaari kung ikamatay pag nahulog ako ulit dito! At higit sa lahat , maaari akong atakihin sa puso pag gugulatin mo pa ako ulit! Aisshhh!"

"Bestfriend naman, Ang exagge mo! Alam mo ba yun ? HEHEHE ^__^ SORRY.!"

I scowled at her.

"What are you doing her anyway ? Ang aga-aga mong nambulabog ah ?"

"Hehehe, kasi... BESTFRIEND ! halika sandali ! " sigaw na naman nito sabay hila sa akin patayo and dragged me to the dartboard i purposedly putted on my room just for fun. "Tingnan mo ! Tingnam mo! natamaan ko na yung center!" Sabi nito habang tinuturo ang dart na na nasa gitna ng dartboard while jumping up and down . Di naman halatang excited siya noh? E halos ingudngud niya na ako sa dingding e!

I smiled at her sarcastically. "congrats ha ? Talagang ginising mo pa ako para dito ? "

Nakita kong lumukot ang mukha niya. "ay.. di mo man lang na appreciate ? Di ako natulog magdamag para magpractice nito.. tapos..." sabi nito habang tumutulo ang luha.

Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti. I'm really fond of playing pranks on my bestfriend. Iyakin kasi masyado e! Haha. " hahahah ! Oi, wag ka ngang umiyak dyan bestfriend ! Joke lang naman e.. "

Lalo pa itong humagulgul.

" bestfriend .. i'm just playing again ! You always knew i'm very proud of you ! Come on, stop crying.."

"*hic*really? *hic* You're proud of me?" She asked between sobs.

"Yup !" I smiled sincerely.

"Thank you bestfriend. I am really trying very hard to be sporty as you. So, they won't stoop down on me again." malungkot na sabi nito.

I hugged her. Yes, i'm well aware that my bestfriend had been bullied a lot for befriending me. A nerd, befriends a school varsity, cheer leader and student council vice president? Only few understands..

"Ano ka ba? Dapat ako nga yung mahihiya sa iyo e. Imagine? Excellent in all academic subjects? Ako nga dapat ang mahihiya e! may genius akong bestfriend. " I tried to crack a joke to make her feel better. Though it's not really truly a joke. Layannah is indeed very intellegent. She's always no. 1 in our class honor rolls.

She giggled and hugged me again. " thank you for making me feel better bestfriend."

"Of course, rest assured you will never feel this down again. No need to feel bad okey ?"

She nodded.

14-year old Xtiara [ex~ti~ya~ra] descended from their spiral stairs as she reads the INSURGENT novel her designer mother bought for her. Her mom always knew what's the past time she love the most. It's reading. .

Her bestfriend, Layannah , already left a while ago..

"Xtiara, sweetheart ! Good morning! Can't you get rid of that book for a moment ? You might fall off the stairs you know! " her father greeted with a smile.

Agad naman siyang napaangat ng ulo and blinked her eyes for a moment. Hindi siya agad nakahuma dahil sa gulat.
"Dad ? Is that you ?"

"Hello sweetheart! Good morning too !"he grinned.

"Daddy! It's really you !"halos hindi makapaniwalang sigaw niya sabay takbo pababa ng hagdan sabay yakap sa ama. Muntik na nga siyang mahulog sa hagdan but she didn't care. One thing is for sure. She really, really missed her father. Halos isang taon na niya itong di nakikita. Sa Canada kasi ito nakatira together with her mother. Her father is a Canadian-American at Filipino-Mexican naman ang mama niya. Naiwan siya sa Pilipinas kasi nga ayaw niyang sumama pabalik doon. She already spent almost 3/4 of her life in another country. Perhaps it would be better to finally live in the country she always thought she belonged. And besides, she don't want to leave her bestfriend... again.

"KowmuShtah aing pReihnseySa kow?" Her father asked with his crooked tagalog.

Hindi niya mapigilang humalakhak.

"Hahaha! Daddy naman e! HAHAHA! nagtagalog ka pa! Hahahah!.

"Oh come on! Wahg Mow neYmen akownG pAhygtawaHneyn ! Heyndi mow aHLam aHng pEynaHgdaahNan kow pahRa maTuwtow naHnG language niYo!"sagot naman ng daddy niya na kunwari nagtatampo. Nalaman niya sa mama niya na nagpapa tut0r ito ng Filipino language sa Canada. She can't help but giggle.

"Your doing great dad!"she grins. "really great!" :)

"Oh! MarahminhG saHLahmaHt kuwng gaHnown.!" sagot nito.( Naniwala naman!)

"I really really really miss you both ,dad! Where's mom?" xtiara asked after hugging her father tightly again.

"SHe's back there. Crying. Maybe. She really wanted to see you but something urgent came up. In fact, the original plan is we will both come here for surprise visit . But it turned out to be this way. " paliwanag ng tatay niya.

Hindi niya mapigilang malungkot. Miss na miss na niya ang mommy niya.

"Hey, cheer up sweetheart! Your mom will surely follow soon. And oh, she told me to give you a powerhug for her." her father cheered and give her that powerhug he is talking about.

It's been a long time since i last hugged them . Really.
