Ch2 . Sisters

Sydney's POV

I love living next door to Shawn. his room isn't near my bedroom window, but Aaliyah's is.

I just slipped through Aaliyah's window and was just waking around there house, I didn't see anyone upstairs so I walked down into the living room.

"Uh hi Syd how'd you get in here?" Manny [A/N: that's Shawn's dad] asked chucking.

"Yenno just the normal way, Aaliyah's bedroom window." I said with sarcasm.

"Well Shawn just went to your house so he should be back shortly when he realizes your not home." Manny said.

"Where's Aaliyah" I asked.

"I believe she's somewhere outside." he said in response to my question

I made my way through the back door and on to their nice green, recently mowed by Shawn, lawn.

And there sat Aaliyah on the swings.

"Hey girl." I said approaching her.

"Hey....you, sorry can't think of anything to call you." She laughed.

You could see my bedroom window from the backyard, even though it's on the side of the house. but I see a figure standing in my window.

I looked a little close and it was Shawn, he was climbing though it back into Aaliyah's room. I laughed at the sight.

Then soon enough he came through the backdoor, over to the swings.

"Hello" Shawn greeted making his eyes wide on the L's.

"Hey monkey butt." I called him.

He just rolled his eyes.

Then I notice Aaliyah walking away.

"Where are you going!" I hollered to her.

"Away from you love birds." she answered not even turning around.

Shawn and I decided to go up to our treehouse our dads made together when we were little.

We just sat and talked, like we usually do. we never run out of things to say.

We both heard our names being called, I looked at the time on my phone before seeing who it was.

5:15 pm. dinner time.

We both made our way down the ladder carefully. we went our separate ways for the night.

"So anything new with you and Shawn" my sister, Sammie asked wiggling her eyebrows.

"Actually yes". I said.

Her eyes grew a size. "what, what, what!!" She shouted.

"This" I said as I flung a spoonful of mashed potatoes at her.

"Girls" my dad scolded.

That had my younger sister, Sara laughing.

Sara's 14, and Sammie and I are both 16, but a couple moths apart. we all get along pretty well, most of the time.

After dinner I helped clear the dishes from the table and went upstairs to my room, I left my phone up here during dinner, I had 5 text messages, but only from Shawn.

Shawnyy🔥 - where r u????

Shawnyy🔥 - to syddddd???

Shawnyy🔥 - I'm birdd

Shawnyy🔥 - I'm not a bird, I'm bored**

Shawnyy🔥- common Sydney😭

I laughed to myself then texted him back.

Syd😍 - what Shawn??

Then I locked my phone and threw it on my bed. I looked up and saw Sammie and Sara standing near my door.

"What guys?" I asked.

"Did you text Shawn back?" The both said, showing me their phones.

Shawn💪🏻 - tell Sydney to text me.

Shawn💪🏻 - what is she doing??

Shawn💪🏻 - wtf why aren't you answering me??

And that was Sara's phone, then Sammie flashed her phone to me.

Benito👨🏻 - tell Sydney to text me.

Benito👨🏻 - I swear to go if none of you answer me I will show up at your house.

Benito👨🏻 - what are you doing????

I laughed so hard.

I pulled out my MacBook and opened FaceTime. and clicked on Shawn's name. he answered like he was waiting for this.

"Finally." he said rolling his eyes.

"Geez can't a family eat dinner in peace?" I said.

"Wait, so food is more important than your life long best friend?" He questioned pretending to be hurt.

I just shrugged my shoulders and smirked. he rolled his eyes.

We talked for almost 5 hours, I looked at the clock on the bottom of my screen it read 10:15 pm.

"Ok Shawn we have school tomorrow so we better be done for tonight." I sighed.

"Okay pick you up at normal time tomorrow, sleep tight and don't let the muffins bit". he replied.

Then I shut it down.

Shawn picks me up for school every morning since he actually has his own car. my parents say "we don't have enough money to buy 2 more cars, 1 for you and 1 for your Sammie."

Shawn also picks up Sammie. but not Sara because she isn't in high school, she's in middle school.

After thinking about random things I finally fell asleep.

I woke up to my alarm going off, 5:30 am.

I made my way to the bathroom and got ready. I get up way earlier than my sisters cause that way i don't have to fight with them for the bathroom.

I hopped in the shower, then went to get dressed.

I wore a a cream colored sweater thing, and dark blue skinny jeans from Hollister along with a pair of cream colored Toms.

Then I went back to the bathroom and blowdried my hair. then I straightened it. I did my makeup, mascara and a thin layer of black eyeliner.

I made my way down the stairs to get breakfast, the clock on the microwave said 6:30 am.

Both my parents were awake and downstairs drinking coffee.

I had a bagel with peanut butter on it and a glass of milk. after i was done with that then my sisters came downstairs to eat.

I went back upstairs to brush my teeth, grab my backpack and phone. I skipped down the stairs and yelled into the kitchen "hurry up Sam, Shawn's here" I walked out the front door and hopped in the passengers seat.

Shawn and I were just sitting in his car softly singing along to the music.

Shawn's an amazing singer.

Finally, which what seemed like 3 hours Sammie finally came out and quickly hopped in the back seat.

Then we were off to school.
