"Hello everyone," the professor said as he entered the room full of students.
"Good morning sir," came back in chorus.
Professor Jeon set his bag on the desk and he turned around to face everyone, sporting a radiant happy smile.
"I would like to announce as we're approaching the end of the year, the incoming freshmen will be visiting us next week for orientation day."
Excitement was heard around the whole room.
"Due to this, we'll be taking this session in order to prepare posters and signs for future freshmen to know their ways around as they visit our university. They don't need to be fancy, but it would be great if you put enough information and write everything in a decent size."
Beomgyu looked at Hanbin and Zhanghao, who had equally big smiles on their faces as they packed their books back into their bags, relieved and excited to not have any classes for the day.
"What signs should we work on?" Beomgyu asked, raising his hand.
"I'll assign all of you your poster, and then you are free to work on it however you want to, but just remember what I said about the information and size. And of course, you may work in groups or partners or on your own," Professor Jeon replied.
He started handing small slips of paper out, and handed them to each of his students. Zhanghao and Hanbin immediately checked theirs, and they screamed like little kids when they saw what they got.
"WE GOT THE WELCOME POSTER!"
"Okay, yay, great," Beomgyu replied, covering his ears.
"I'll go get the supplies and then you all may start working on the posters. Just don't burn the classroom while I'm away," Professor Jeon joked around.
The rest laughed, and the professor headed outside to go get everything. Meanwhile, Zhanghao and Hanbin were already brainstorming.
"We should make the letters in bubble font and add a bunch of dark and light colors so they will stick out. And make them really big too!" Zhanghao said.
"You look like an excited kindergartner making a poster for his parents right now," Beomgyu commented.
"Whatever you say Romeo."
"ROMEO?!"
"Please don't kill each other before the orientation happens y'all," Hanbin prayed out loud.
And Beomgyu decided to just stay calm.
"So, about the poster..."
Zhanghao and Hanbin took care of most of the designs, while Beomgyu only suggested a few ideas. At least he could help with decorating, while Zhanghao wrote everything onto the paper.
"This looks pretty cool already," Hanbin said.
"Agreed."
The poster did look really cool. In wide black bubble letters dashed with bright colors stood the words: Welcome future freshies to Lotus Park University
And of course adorned with some hearts; it's not an artwork done by Hanbin or Zhanghao if there aren't some cute elements to it.
Many people complimented them, saying that it's the best poster out of all the ones that had been done, which of course made them all feel good.
This session was of course great; no classes, and no stress of getting a surprise pop quiz, if you quote what Zhanghao said.
"Beomgyu, can I talk with you real quick?" Professor Jeon asked.
