"Meeting," Wonwoo said, ignoring your presence entirely as he addressed the older man.
Jeonghan's eyes shifted, and he turned to the others. "Watch her. Don't let her out of your sight," he ordered, his voice cold as ice.
With that, the rest left the room. Whatever was happening, you knew it was far from over.

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, tension was rising. Heeseung stood in his office, his expression dark as he listened to the voice on the other end of the phone. The voice belonged to a woman, cold and commanding.
"I thought I told you to keep her safe? All you did was make things worse," she said, her irritation clear.
Heeseung clenched his jaw, struggling to maintain his composure. He never imagined that you would be taken so easily. If only he hadn't been so preoccupied with his work, he could have arranged for someone to ensure your safety.
Before he could respond, the line went dead, and in a fit of frustration, Heeseung hurled his phone against the wall, watching it shatter into pieces. He took a deep breath to calm himself before storming out of the room and into the meeting area where EXO's members were gathered.
Suho looked up, his brows furrowing as he saw Heeseung's enraged expression. "Kid, you don't just barge in whenever you please. We're having a meeting here," Suho said, his tone stern.
Baekhyun, however, couldn't resist a smirk. "Oh, come on. That girl is not even a pawn in our game. Just let her die, and we'll continue with our attacks," he said casually, earning a glare from Heeseung.
"Baekhyun, watch your words," Chanyeol warned, nudging Baekhyun under the table.
Heeseung's fists clenched tightly. "You guys know we can't let her die, right?" he said, his voice strained with anxiety.
Suho sighed deeply, rubbing his temples. The situation was becoming increasingly complicated, all because of one girl. "We'll lie low for now until we get her back," Suho decided, dismissing the meeting and motioning for Heeseung to follow him.
Once they were alone, Heeseung's anxiousness became more apparent. "How can we get her back?" he asked, his voice tinged with desperation.
Suho studied him for a moment, his expression unreadable. "I can't tell if you're worried about her well-being because you genuinely care for her or because you're afraid of the holder."
"Does that really matter right now?" Heeseung snapped.
"Don't worry. We'll get her back as soon as we can," Suho reassured him. "Just make sure you're ready when the time comes."

Back in the Seventeen house, Joshua re-entered not the medical room, but the meeting one, along with the others, closing the door behind him. "Quiang Mei is the daughter of the Dongye clan in China. They've made connections with EXO," he began, sharing the information he had just received.
Jeonghan's eyes narrowed, a calculating expression on his face. "So, we kidnapped a worthless rock that turned out to be a gem, huh?" he mused, a smirk playing on his lips.
"We can use her to blackmail the family. We could get more than we ever expected," Deokyeom added, intrigued by the potential leverage they now had.
"I've already thought about that," Jeonghan said, his tone serious. "But the problem is, EXO and three other groups-including Enhypen and the Dongye clan-are already working together. That makes it hard for us to make a move."
"And they'll cause us more trouble if they get her back," Joshua pointed out, and the others nodded in agreement.
"Does the girl know who she really is?" Seungcheol asked, his voice cutting through the discussion like a knife.
"No, she doesn't," Woozi replied, glancing at you.
Seungcheol's expression remained stoic as he gave his next orders. "Never let her find out. And never let her out of your sight." His gaze shifted to Wonwoo and Hoshi, who stood at attention. "I'm putting the both of you in charge."
"What? Why me? I'm terrible at babysitting!" Hoshi protested, earning a smack on the head from Seungkwan. "Are you refusing our boss' orders?" Seungkwan hissed.
"Ow..."
Jeonghan, ever the instigator, pouted. "Why can't I be the one in charge?"
"Jeonghan, shut up before I punch you in the face," Joshua said, standing up and leaving the room as the meeting concluded.
Wonwoo and Hoshi exchanged looks before heading to your room. Hoshi sighed, his laptop tucked under his arm. "Bummer. We have to look after a girl... I never would have imagined babysitting someone," he muttered.
"It won't be that hard. We'll just install some CCTV cameras in her room. Keep her locked in," Wonwoo suggested, his eyes still glued to his device as he played a game.
"Seungcheol hyung wouldn't allow that," Hoshi started, but his words were cut short as Jun came running toward them, breathless.
"T-The girl... She's not in her room," Jun gasped, his chest heaving.
Wonwoo and Hoshi exchanged panicked glances before sprinting off in different directions, searching for you frantically. They had just been assigned to watch over you, and now you were already missing. They knew one thing for sure-if Seungcheol found out, they were as good as dead.
