"Sabi mo, hindi ka nagbabasa ng love story?" Tanong sakin ni Savy habang naglalakad kami sa hallway ng condo unit namin

Nang makarating, I opened the door for us and let her get inside first.

"I don't read. I write" sabi ko pa dito, natawa ako sa reaction nya na parang sinasabing "i see"

I sat on the couch. Gumaya naman ito ay yumakap sakin.

"Alam mo ba, hindi ito yung unang beses kong sinubukang magpropose sayo?" I asked her, lumayo ito ng kaunti so she could see my Face

"Weh? Hindi ko alam" sabi pa nito kaya natawa ako sa kanya.

"This is actually the third time. Yung unang beses, it's on our last anniversary in Japan. When I learned everything. The second ay yung nasa beach tayo and akala mo na scam lang ako nung binilhan ko" i laughed

Remembering na hindi nya nagets yung nakasulat doon sa book. Kaya i let it go. That's not the right time to ask I guess.

So I planned this whole thing. To make it more memorable for us. Para din hindi na mapurnada or anything.

"So, the ring?" Tanong nito sabay tingin sa singsing

"I held onto that for years" sagot ko pa

She looked at me, kinuha nito ang kamay ko and intertwined it with hers.

"I saw the letters" ako naman ang nagulat sa sinabi niya

Muntik ko ng makalimutan iyon. Nung bumisita kasi kami sa condo ni Savy dati. Wala naman yung letters doon. So inisip ko na lang na baka hindi naipadala doon sa unit.

"If you held onto that ring. Ako naman, I hold onto those letters. I wonder nga kung bakit tumigil ka magpadala e. Tapos nalaman ko din kung bakit kasi sinabi ni Ate Aliah" sabi ni Savy sakin

This is a revelation to me.

"Thank you Jho. Thank you for everything" sabi nito and pulled me into a hug

"Akala ko sa iba ko napadala yung letters or baka naitapon na ng maintenance" Sabi ko pa dito

So all this time. Nabasa nya pala yung mga nilagay ko sa letter.

Nagulat ako ng tumalon si Oreo papunta sa lap ni Savy at humiga doon.

"Oreooo, di na ba ako ang favorite mo?" Tanong ko kay Oreo at nag meow lang ito sa sinabi ko

Savy just laughed at us.

"Love, do you want to have kids?" Tanong ko dito

Hindi pa kasi namin ito napapagusapan talaga. Like, as in never.

Nagulat pa sya sa sinabi ko.

"Hmm, one or two siguro Love. I know, I don't have to worry If I have you. They'll grow up well like their mom" sabi pa nito that makes my heart flattered

"So you mean, kaya natin silang palakihin ng maayos?" Tanong ko pa dito

"Oo naman. Pero sana hindi nila makuha yung pagcoconclude mo no? Talent mo yon e" sabi niya pa kaya napasimangot ako

"Joke lang e" sabi nito sabay tawa

Mahimbing na ang tulog ni Savy when I went in the balcony of our condo. Hindi ako makatulog e. Maybe because everything feels surreal.

I put the cup of coffee on the table and opened my laptop. And type words that comes in my mind.

A family. We'll build our own soon. We took the first step today as she becomes my fiance officially.

This journey wasn't easy. But I'm glad i push through. Super thankful din ako sa mga friends namin, hindi nila kami pinabayaan. I'll do the same for them.

If you'll ask me what love is? My answer would be Savy and the things she's doing for me, or the emotions that she's making me feel.

Savy at first look, we'll She's intimidating but when she smiles with her eyes disappearing, you'll probably think shes a baby in a woman's body. She's kind and beautiful inside and out.

We both grow up independent from our parents due to our situation. And I'll promise, our kids won't have to experience those things. I'll make sure, that both I and Savy can give them all the love we could give.

I am thrilled and excited to share these stories with them in the future.
