We used ornaments and decorations that Beomgyu brought from home. He helped set the string lights around the tree, standing on a ladder most of the time, while the older took mostly care of decorating the tree with round red balls, stars, and candy canes.

"It looks cute," Yeonjun complimented.

"I agree. Can you hand me the tree topper?"

"Yep!"

Yeonjun dug through the box, and found a larger star that had an angel blowing a horn in the center. He reached up and Beomgyu grabbed it, placing it on top of the tree.

He climbed back down, and then walked back next to Yeonjun, observing the nicely decorated tree together.

"It's nice," they said at once.

Realizing they made the jinx, Yeonjun and Beomgyu laughed it off, feeling a tad shy and awkward.

"So uh... what do you wanna do now?" Yeonjun asked.

"Hmm... do you like baking?"

"Yeah?"

"How about we bake some cookies?"

So that's how they both ended up aprons around their torsos, grabbing all the necessary items needed for baking cookies. Yeonjun looked for a mixing bowl, a mixer, a scale, cookie cutters, and a platter to place into the stove, while Beomgyu looked for flour, milk, eggs, and icing.

"Are you sure your diet won't be affected by this?" the ravenette asked.

Deep down he didn't want the younger to get into trouble with his parents for going against his restricted meals.

"Screw my diet; right now, I just wanna eat sugar and gain weight. Besides, it's Christmas; we can eat whatever we want to," Beomgyu reasoned.

"Right."

The red haired male brought all the ingredients over, and together the two young men looked for a recipe online.

"Okay, 500 grams of flour, two eggs, 100 grams of butter, two tablespoons of sugar, and while mixing, add vanilla flavor and a cup of milk into it," Yeonjun read out loud.

"That sounds complicated."

"Nah, it's actually easy."

"Well, I've never really baked anything before in my life," Beomgyu admitted, scratching the nape of his neck.

"Wow. Your parents need an award for parenting," Yeonjun sarcastically replied.

They do...

Noticing a shift of attitude, Yeonjun brushed it off by giving Beomgyu a short smile, before wrapping an arm around him and pulling the scale closer.

"Come on, I'll show you."

Beomgyu felt the blood run into his cheeks.

"Okay..."

For the next half an hour, Yeonjun explained to Beomgyu how to use the mixer, how to measure the amount needed for each ingredient, and to know when you have used it enough. Beomgyu followed along, and the two took turns in mixing.

Once the batter was done, they took the cookie cutters into their hands, and started making shapes in the cookie dough. There were gingerbread men, snowmen, Santa hats, candy canes, reindeer, stars, and Beomgyu's personal favorites, elf hats.

"I always dreamed of one day catching one of Santa's helpers in the kitchen," he mentioned.

"Really?"
