"I'm nineteen, but your right, I don't know how to use this. I definitely can't kill a Lycan with it." The boy swung it around and twisted his wrist.

"Careful. I got this Brandon. We have hundreds of warriors arriving tomorrow. The pack house needs help organizing where everyone will go and where to get enough food."

"Thanks Sophia. I'll be back in an hour to see how things are."

"No problem." She winked at me then turned to Dylan.

I walked off to the side and watched everyone a moment. I felt as hopeless as Dylan and needed to change that. I can't lead anyone if I didn't believe in myself.

Sophia laid Dylan out twice and did a little happy dance over him. I shook my head thinking this might not have been a good idea. Hopefully he will learn something from her though. Just as I was about to turn around I swear I saw Sophia's eyes shine purple. My head snapped back to her and they were just brown.

She was showing off though. Kicking a boys ass isn't the best way to impress him, but I doubt Sophia knew how to flirt. I shrugged it off and left.

Inside the pack house was disaster. We needed to assign and setup medic stations, hunters, cooks, and living quarters for more than three times the amount of people that lived here.

Jax said we had a better advantage at Danny's pack with the dense woods. Plus, Demetrius would go after Liam's pack first. It will give us time to prepare for their attack. He sent plans over but it was more of Barry's area of expertise.

I spent two hours organizing groups for each station we needed to get through staying here and assigned who would take what position if war broke out.

Just talking about a possible attack had everyone on the edge. This pack barely had time to deal with the massacre of half their neighbors, including their Alpha's family. The warriors were only that in theory. We never seen battles in our lifetime or for a few generations before us.

Some people argued it would be best to just retreat. There was too many of us though. We wouldn't get far, plus if Demetrius wanted us dead, then he would make sure each and every one of us was hunted down and killed.

"Hey lover!" Barry whispered in my ear from behind. The second his arms wrapped around me I relaxed. I finally found my perfect half and we are facing war. It wasn't fair.

"Hey. Did you whip the warriors in shape?" I teased him.

"Nope! I don't know what to do with them either." He said kissing my neck.

"Mmm, you start doing that we aren't get much else done than each other."

"I think I'm ok with that." He bit my shoulder with a growl. He was an aggressive mate and goddess it turned me on so much.

I chuckled, leaning my head back to his shoulder and just let him eat me up. It felt too good to leave his arms.

"Maybe we are due for a quick break. One behind lock doors." I said with a desperate moan. This man made me so hard for him.

"I like that idea a lot. I haven't tasted you in hours, mate." He started moving me towards a room I was using as an office. Once we were turned from any eyes his hand moved to my crotch and cupped my length in his hands. "I think you need a taste of me too."

"You have no idea how much I crave your sexy body." I opened the door and spun around to slam him against it. "Goddess, I wish we could just go away and spend all hours naked with each other."

"Once this is over we are going to a cabin in some random snow covered mountain. No service, no work, no pack. Just you and me, mate." Barry's hand already had my belt undone and was about to kneel when a scream came from behind the door.
