The words on the page start bleeding into one another. I skim it for what seems to be the millionth time. My eyes are crimson red, reading and reading the page over and over again, sentence after sentence. My mind knows what word is next to come, what information to expect, the details imprinted in my mind and yet I read again. My hands grip the crinkled paper embracing each wrinkle as my exhausted eyes refocus on the page.

Disappearing the day after her 34th birthday. Poor woman. How pathetically tragic. Almost too tragic to be true. Almost. Its not right- nothing is.
