Rose had moved over to a desk and turned on a lamp that was standing next to the desk that was messily covered in different sorts of books.

"Why are we here?" Elena sounded as she moved, her hand still in mine, one step closer to the vampire.

The female vampire stretched her neck in annoyance before walking over to a window that wasn't covered with a plank. "You keep asking me questions like I'm gonna answer them." She lifted a square piece of thin wood to the window. She carefully manoeuvres her body away from the sun coming into the window so she won't burst into flames. Even though her actions were stealthy, they didn't go unnoticed by myself.

"Well, maybe we should speak with Trevor." The vampire turned her head towards me slowly. "Since he seemed to be very interested in Elena. Or was it Katherine that he was interested in?" I try and push my luck with the information I was giving, and with that luck, I seemed to be right.

Rose's lips pursed, and, as she's down multiple times before, she stared, making me weary, but she didn't reply. "Why won't you answer us? It's not like we are gonna get out of here. Like you said, 'There's nothing here for miles,' and you obviously made sure not to have witnesses, that's why I'm here. Right?"

"And that's another question." She continued to lift up planks and put them up, covering the sunlight entering the house.

"The least you can do is tell us what you want." Elena moved forwards again. I kept my chin up, but I never moved, not wanting any confrontation.

"I personally want nothing. I'm just a delivery service." Once she was done with covering the windows, Rose went back to the books.

"Delivery to who? Elijah?" The doppelganger beside me sounded.

"Ha ha. Two points to the eavesdropper." Her accented voice was music to my ears. It was comforting. In a way.

"Who is he? A vampire?"

"He's one of the vampires. The Originals." Rose commented to nonchalantly for my liking. I've got chills up my spine, and it was very put of control.

The original what? Vampires? Assholes? Both?

"What—what do you mean?" My straight haired best friend questioned, sounding more and more confused by the second.

"Again with the questions. Haven't the Salvatores been teaching you vampire history." Rose had begun flicking through one of the books on the desk.

"So you know Stefan and Damon?"

I was quiet as I mouse as they were talking. Not moving my feet, but moving my eyes, I examined the old house.

"I know of them." Rose clarified. "A hundred years back, a friend of mine trued to set me up with Stefan. She said he was one of the good ones. I'm more of a sucker for the bad boys, though, but I digress." Her talking about Stefan reminded me of Lexi, making a small smile appear on my face.

"Who are the originals?" Elena asks this time more persistent. As I was looking around, I couldn't see Trevor anywhere. He must be waiting for Elijah. I felt my heart rate increase at the thought of what the vampires might do to me.

Rose turns back to face us. "Trevor and I have been running for five hundred years. We're tired. We ant it over. We are using you to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess." HER voice sounded honest, and I couldn't help but feel slightly sorry for her. But only slightly, since they did kidnap us.

"But why me?" I try and stop Elena from moving closer to the five hundred year old woman, but I failed.

"Because you're a Petrova doppelgänger." Elena shakes her head, still confused. "You're the key to breaking the curse." MY eyes widen.
