Chapter Five - What Else, He Can Build A House From Scratch?

Start from the beginning

"That's the spirit!" Ella cheers.

"What spirit?" Red-head-who-can't-throw-a-football, cuts in. "Don't tell me Eldon is back in the kitchen, I thought we got rid of that ghost last year." He states.

I frown, flicking my eyes between the girls and red-head. 'Ghost?'

"Don't mind his panic," Josie steps in. "Last year the kitchen was haunted. Pots and pans would fall randomly, the cabinets would be opened, so we did our little exorcism to get rid of him. Eldon was his name."

'Right.' I nod slowly - cautiously.

"You actually performed that exorcism?" Ella gapes. "You're kidding, right?"

"Nope," Nelson - Blondie - chimes in with a smirk to Ella, something twinkling in his eyes towards her. "Full on exorcism, you should've been there."

Ella blushes, Josie and I sharing a glance. "No, I don't do exorcisms. Josie, why would you do that? You could've gotten possessed!"

"I would not have gotten possessed. Eldon wasn't like that."

"She's right, he was more a 'make a mess' ghost, than a 'possess people' ghost." Kurt explains, his red head extra vibrant today and almost blinding me.

"Exactly," Nelson states. "She was fine, we all were. Your concern is sweet, Ella."

Ella's eyes widen, her eye-contact moving to the floor as her blush deepens. "Margaret, you need to go to the bathroom. Let's go!" She drags me by my wrist, also grabbing Josie as we're suddenly jolted from the conversation to the girls bathrooms.

When we're inside, Josie is quick to question her behaviour. "Okay, what is going on between you and man-bun? Don't even think about brushing what that was off."

"Alright, Sherlock," Ella huffs. "I may or may not of, sort of, kind of, not fully penetrated but did other things, with Nelson last night. And the night before that. And basically since the second night of camp."

Both Josie and I gasp.

"You whore!" Josie slaps Ella's shoulder. "I love you when you're slutty."

"Don't slap me!" Ella slaps her shoulder back.

"You're hooking up with Nelson?" She gapes.

Ella buries her face into her hands. "No, it's not just that. Well, I don't think it is."

'You don't want it to be.' I phrase.

Her face softens shyly. "Yeah."

"You like him more than that." Josie adds.

"I didn't think I would, but then I went to get a snack during the night from the dining hall and he was there also. We just started talking, then making out, then talking, and more making out," she rambles. "He's a really good kisser."

I giggle as Josie squeals. "Oh, you are so charmed by him and his man-bun. Isn't he 19, though?"

"Yes," she drifts off. "But I am the age of consent, and he doesn't push. I do, and he's really good at everything."

"Pipe down, horn dog," Josie settles a hand between them. "You need to talk - that means actually talk at a distance and not with your mouths on body parts, and tell him how you feel."

"Josie, it's been barely a week of camp. I can't just spill all these feelings!"

Josie rolls her eyes. "Don't be stupid, you two have been eyeing up and been close since last camp. It's honestly better than an orgasm you two are finally not eye fucking anymore."
