EDD and KEVIN: love

Chapter 3: The Date

Kevin parked the bike. He got off and helped Edd take off his helmet. Edd was jaw dropped.
'Do you like it?' Kevin said shily.
'The planetarium?!' Edd said full of emotion's.
The planetarium had recently opened. Edd had planned to attend, but was working up the money.
Kevin knew by his reaction that he did good. He smile and said,' Why don't we grab a snack. I brought a little something.'
They sat at the bench eating sandwiches and drinking a pop.
'Kevin, may I ask you a question?' Edd started
'Depends on the question, dork.'
'I had always thought that you did not like my friends and I, yet you bring me here and have a meal with me. Why?'
Kevin held the pop in his hand and thought for a long time figuring out the right words. 'Look, I don't know what to say. I feel odd when I am around you, in a good way! I just...I like you.' Kevin looked down afraid of what he might say.
'I like you too, Kevin.' Edd smiled.
Kevin looked over and smiled back.
'So when did you start having feelings towards me?' Edd asked. Kevin sat there. 'Kevin?' Edd asked again. This time Edd raised an eyebrow.
Kevin had been listening to what a group of teens were saying. 'He is such a dork.' 'The guy in the red hat is really hot.' 'Yeah that sock head is so ugly. Who would want to talk to him?' Kevin crunched the pop can. Edd knew what was happening.
'Kevin, it is ok. In fact I am used to it.'
Kevin got up, ' Oh look at the time. Our show is about to start.' Kevin chucked the pop can at the group, throw Edd over his shoulder and gave the teens his sign of hate (the middle finger).
'I am capable of walking now please set me down.' Kevin kept walking. Edd squirmed and Kevin licked his hand.
'DID YOU JUST LICK ME!' Edd shouted. Kevin just laughed.

Once inside, he set Edd down and straight for the ticket desk.
'Go find us some good seats.' Kevin watched Edd walk in, in awe of the room.
Edd could not believe he was finally in the room he was saving money to see. He loved the stars and all meanings behind them.
Kevin spoke to the ticket guy.
'Hey Nat.'
'Gosh did you see that guy who just came in?' Nat pointed to the doors Edd walked through. Kevin blush, 'Yeah, that would be mine.' Kevin said smiling.
'Seriously! You better hold on to him.'
'I know.' He was still smiling and blushing.
'Dang bro, you are in it way too deep.'
'Just something about him.'
The group of teens came in.
'Hey, don't let those girls in OK?'
'It will cost you?' Nat said
'I got you. Thanks man.' Then Kevin went to find Edd.

Edd looked back when he heard the doors open and saw Kevin.
'We must be early. No one is here.' Edd stated.
Kevin sat behind him holding his hat over his face.
'Kevin, what are you doing?' Edd questioned.
'You aren't suppose to see just yet. Listen, I really like you. You are on my mind. There is something I have to know.' Kevin put is hat back in the correct position.
Edd say I the stars,
Will You Go Out With Me?
Edd stared in amazement. Kevin jumped over the seat to sit next to him. There was such a pause.
'I thought you were more into Nazz than me?' Edd finally said
'No, just you.'
'You ask me this in a way I can not refuse. It would be so heart breaking if I said no.'
'Then don't say no.' Kevin was started to get irritated.
'Then I am being pushed into saying yes.'
'Then say no.' Kevin felt a pain in his heart.
'Kevin, I want to know when it started.'
'So the question from lunch?'
'Please. It would help me understand why you want me to dearly.'
'I watched you make these stupid scam designs for Eddy. They were awesome. As time went on, they got better. I watched you create things that people wanted and...'
Edd had covered his mouth. ' I am not used to your kind words yet Kevin.' Kevin then took Edd's hand to in cover his mouth.
'So if my words don't flatter you, I won't speak.' Kevin leaned in close to Add. Both felt a spark between each other. Edd had never felt this way and didn't want it to go away. Just then he felt something drip on his hand he moved back and glanced down.
'Oh how embarrassing!' Edd said. He reached into his satchel and got a handkerchief. He held it to his nose. Blood was still coming out.
Kevin laughed, 'I must be good at this.'
Edd had his head down,' I am deeply sorry I had ruined 'the moment'. I am very new to all of this. May I rest my head on your shoulder?' He gave Kevin a puppy dog sad look.
Kevin knew how upset he really was about the nose bleed. 'You are fine. It happens. I know I have been a jerk in the past, but give us a chance. We can go slow with this. Don't sk if you can lay your head on my shoulder, dork. Just do it.' And with that, Kevin laied Edd's head on his shoulder. Edd smiled from his happiness.
'You got it Double dweeb?'
'Understood.' Edd smiled.

Edd explained the stars to Kevin as the presentation went on. By the end, they found Nat behind them watching. They walked with Nat out of the room.
'Nat, I am going to pound you for stalking.'
'Come on! I just wanted to see some results.' Nat begged.
'We are headed home so we won't get stalked by you.' Kevin said.
'Well if you get lonely sweet cheeks, just text me. Nat winked at Edd who just laughed.

Off to home they went.
'Are you still scared?' Kevin asked. No response. Hey dork. You OK?'
'Yes.'
'Hold on tight. I will keep you safe. I promise you.' Edd felt better about the ride.

They arrived at Edd's and Kevin walled him to the door.
'You better be ready for any and all courting.' Kevin smiled at him and Eddy laughed. 'What is so funny. He didn't answer.
'Look, I can't have someone like Nat take you way so I hope you are ready for a protective guy.' Kevin winked and Eddy blushed. 'Maybe I can show those guys why they can't have me.' Edd said.
What Kevin didn't know that on the way home, Edd was thinking about the intense moment from the almost kiss. He couldn't get the feeling out and yearned for it. o Edd took Kevin into his arms, and kissed him. Edd could not feel his body. He only felt his heart pumping. Kevin felt every part that Edd was touching him at. As they broke apart to breathe, Edd said,'I will go out with you so your mind is at rest. I guess this is farewell. Today was delightful and your ways were very cute. I hope to do this again.' And with that. Edd shut the door. Kevin walked back to his bike. His mind full of thoughts. He thinks I am cute.

Edd leaned against the door. What will I do in return? Edd knew he would have to come up with something grand. He spent the next fees days analyzing Kevin to come up with the peferect date in return.
