Brandon and I exit the bus and meet up with Ronnie and Emma. They seem to be flirting when we return and I give an encouraging look to Emma. She just blushes and smiles.

"So, where should we go?" Brandon asks.

I think about his question, then have an idea.

"Oh! I know an amazing bar that plays really good music!" I reply. A gentle smile reaches Brandon's face. He slowly drifts closer to me.

"Where at?"

"It's a couple blocks from here. Only take about 15 minutes." I look into his eyes. He continues smiling at me, then reaches for my hand. His warm palm comforts my petite hand.

"Let's go then! I wanna get drunk!" Ronnie yells. We all laugh and start walking.

I return to my previous position of grabbing Brandon's arm, and he looks at me. He looks over my face and says, "You're adorable."

I turn to look at him. His warm grin melts my heart. His luscious lips beg to be kissed, but yet I still have to hold back. I've only known him for two hours, I think. Still, he looks at me in complete adoration.

"You're adorable, Brando." I reply. He raises his eyebrow.

"Oh, now look who's giving nicknames?" He chuckles. I laugh and give his arm a squeeze. His biceps flex in response, and I get chills.

We walk for about 15 minutes this way, then arrive at the bar. It's a nice, dark place, that plays good music from the past five decades or so. It's better than the normal DJ crap that plays in mainstream bars, but they sometimes play that too.

We walk inside and find an enclave with four seats. Ronnie and Emma are seated next to each other, with me and Brandon opposite them. The music is blasting loud 80's discotech, and the floor is full of dancing people.

The waitress arrives and we order our drinks. Hard whiskey for Ronnie, a margarita for Emma, Shirley Temple for me, and a Coca-cola for Brandon.

"Coca-Cola?" I ask after the waitress has left.

"Yeah, it's my favorite drink in the world." He shyly answers, and lowers his head.

I smile widely at him. "That's adorable."

He raises his head and smiles also. A full feeling of warmth comes over me, and I grab his hand. He looks down at our hands intertwined and chuckles.

"Your hands are cold." He says.

I frown. "Really?"

"Yeah, but's it's just because I haven't melted your heart yet."

I squeeze his hand. "Oh my god, stop."

"Stop what?"

"Being so cute, and dreamy, and everything that I look for in a guy."

"Well, you don't deserve anything less."

I smile even bigger, and hold Brandon's hand closer. He slowly drifts his head closer to mine, his lips pursed and red, and we-

"Ahem!"

-are interrupted by a loud and annoying cough. We turn our heads and find that Emma's the owner. If eyes could kill, both Ronnie and Emma would be stone dead. They sit awkwardly and look at us, as if we did something wrong. Ronnie breaks the silence.

"So, we're gonna go dance. You two try and control yourselves." He turns and gives Emma a look. Emma gets the signal and gets up to leave.

"Yeah, see ya." Emma waves. I merely nod and say "Ok."

I turn to look at Brandon, who has a confused and embarrassed face on him. He blushes, and says, "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me."

"No, don't be, I wasn't acting right either." I say.

"How about I sit over there?" I suggest, pointing at where Emma sat.

"Great!" Brandon agrees, and I scoot to the other side of the table. We sit across from each other, and I suddenly feel cold without the warmth of Brandon near me. He feels it too and adjusts his legs closer to mine.

We begin talking about random things, getting to know each other like normal people do. I find out he's Mormon, and single, amongst other things.

"You've met Morrissey?" I say, shocked at his answer.

"Yep. He's a pretty cool guy." Brandon chuckles.

"Oh my god, the Smiths are like one of my favorite bands!" I yell, leaning over towards him.

"Me too! I love their music!" He leans closer to me.

"I love that you love them. I could just, just-" I continue leaning towards him.

"Just what?" Brandon whispers, his eyes on my lips. I realize that we are centimeters apart, and I can feel his warm breath. His question excites me, and I want to kiss him so bad.

"-uh, nothing." I blush. I lean back towards my seat and feel uncomfortable. Brandon is still staring at me, looking rejected.

"Oh, ok..." He mumbles, then leans back to his seat. His face shows hurt, and I feel even worse.

"Wanna go for a walk?" I ask. He waits a couple of seconds before responding.

"Sure."

***********

Brandon and I wander the dark and unusually empty streets of Hollywood. Lights from the busy stores and bars shine, and the decorated palm trees glow Christmas colors. Brandon checks out each star as we pass and I laugh at his dorkiness. We reach a beautiful fountain near the end of one street, and I admire its beauty.

"This is so pretty." I gaze at the water gushing out of the water.

"It sure is.." He says, not looking at the fountain.

We stand at the edge of the fountain and I look at Brandon. He eyes admire me and a small grin seeps through his mouth.

"What?" I ask.

He smiles and moves closer to me. "Nothing, it's just... you look so beautiful with the lights on your face."

I smiled wide and moved closer to him. We're just inches apart, and he still smiles as we get closer.

"You wanna know what the cutest thing is about you? Your eyes." He says, like it was a fact. I melt and grab his hands, intertwining my fingers with his.

"You wanna know what I wanted to say when you said you loved the Smiths? I wanted to say that I could just-"

He places both of his hands on my cheek and pulls me in. His lips kiss mine, and I instantly feel it.

You know that spark that people say rarely happen when two people kiss? Well, kissing Brandon for the first time was an understatement of that. His kiss is so warm and yet so electric, and I want more.

I wrap my hands around his neck and continue kissing him. He keeps his hands on my cheek and pulls away, "-kiss you?" He finishes my statement.

"Mhmm." I mumble, and pull him back in.

"Darling..." He says in between kisses, "I wanted to do this since I first saw you on stage."

I smile and kiss him even harder.
