"... Why is the sun... so loud?" he groaned.
Dee raised his head to look at the guests that had arrived before them. He smiled while a plate of four - what they presumed were - tacos flew out of the kitchen to them. "Hey!" he greeted. "Sorry to put you through that, but it was kinda necessary. But, now that you've dealt with some of your baggage, you can enjoy your little break more." The tray with food hovered next to him, allowing him to grab it and offer it to the group. "Tacos?"
Weiss slapped the plate to the side.
Dee raised his hand and the food stopped mid-flight. They all watched in amazement as it looked like someone hit the rewind button on a remote, and the food flew back into place on the plate and back into his hand.
"If you didn't want any, that's fine, but don't waste food." Dee then set the plate down on the table.
"What are you?!" she demanded.
"Argh! Stop with the shouting, please," Tee winced. They didn't even know gods could have hangovers.
"Eh?" Dee asked.
"I have had it up to here," she raised her arm above her, "with nonsensical beings from other worlds. So, what are you?"
Having witnessed the events in The Ever After, Tee went along with the bit. "Well, I'm the oldest of four, a huge fan of old rock music-"
Yang didn't like how he didn't take any of this seriously, and remembering everything with the Curious Cat, repeated the question. "What. Are. You?"
"Pfft," he scoffed. "If you're trying to find out if I have a 'purpose' or whatever, you can forget it. Did you forget the part about us being beyond space and time? We're not from your world, much less the Ever After, so you can calm down with your fears of forcefully learning more about yourselves instead of going to therapy."
Dee raised his soda in the air. "Second oldest, in case anyone cared."
"So you know about that, then, huh?" Yang's eyes were red. "Then what do you want from us? You trying to get into our world, too? Like that damn cat?"
Tee just raised an eyebrow. "Why in the fuck I would ever want to go to your world?" He scoffed. That threw them off. "Seriously. That's like asking a fish if it wants to live on land. Why would I ever want to go to a place with no Mexican food?" *
"And no anime," Dee added, deciding to eat the tacos on the table.
"And no anime," Tee agreed and also took one of the tacos. "Anime and Mexican food - the two most important things for a Hispanic to exist. And I just started Ranger Reject."
"What's Ranger Reject?" his brother interrupts.
"Think, like, Power Rangers meets The Boys," Tee explained.
"Oh, dang. Now I kinda wanna watch it. Hey, did you hear Konosuba season 3 just came out?"
Now Tee looked very excited. "Oh, shit! Really?"
"HEY!" A giant white sword slammed down, splitting the table in half and separating the two brothers.
"THE TABLE/TACOS!" No one could tell which brother shouted what.
She didn't have her weapon anymore since being brought back to the theater, but Weiss was pleasantly surprised when her semblance still worked. No one expected Weiss to start it, but most were ready to stand behind her. Even without their weapons, if they had to.
Both Winter and Weiss got more glyphs ready, with Winter's eyes lighting up. The rest of team RWBY got into some form of fighting stance or another, as well as Ren, Nora, Oscar, Emerald, and Qrow. Willow pulled Whitley behind her, and stood in front of the Cotta-Arc family and Pietro and Maria with her own glyph. The Ace Ops and Robyn standing in front of them, Harriet looked like the only one ready to fight. Sun also got ready, and Neptune - used to long and mid-range - awkwardly raised his fists.
