Looking Through Jaune Arc's Multiverse

Intermission: 1

"The bad news is that I found your friend." They turned to look where his voice came from. He was leaning against the door frame to the auditorium looking at the group. "And you wouldn't believe me if I told you," Tee sighed, then nodded toward team RWBY. "But you'll believe them."

"How... how long were we gone?" Weiss asked her sister.

"We didn't think you left." The Winter Maiden along with others seemed to catch up that they thought they were gone far longer than they actually were. "How long do you think you've been away?"

"Two, maybe three days?"

"Wait," Ruby got their attention. "Where's Jaune?" She looked around frantically, then her teammates did as well.

"You found Jaune?" Ren asked them, hoping to hear something good.

"He was just with us!"

"The hell?!" Tee exclaimed. "Did I not just say I found him? Whatever, now you all can explain the living paradox that is your friend." He then turned around and walked back toward the lobby while taking his sunglasses out of his pocket and putting them on. A few could hear him muttering under his breath something that sounded like, "Pinché Jaune Arc and his canon-event-having-ass," while his brother followed.

"Hey, where're you two going?" Robyn called out.

Tee turned and started walking backward. "I'm hungover. I want tacos," he shrugged and turned back.

Dee then turned to face in their direction and also walked backward, "I was just gonna follow him, but now I want tacos too." He turned back and started talking with his brother. It was quiet for a moment as the group stared at the brothers walking away.

Then Sun broke the silence.

"What're tacos?" *

{ONE FRENCH NARRATOR LATER}

Hearing team RWBY's journey to what was once thought to be a children's storybook, they began processing how much stranger their world had just become.

Qrow hugged his youngest niece, saying, "I'm just happy you're okay, squirt." Ruby simply smiled and returned the hug.

Saphron had moved off to the side with her family and was silently crying. Her little brother, one of the siblings she'd been partially responsible for growing up, had been left to stew in his own suffering. Seeing this, Weiss moved down the hall where the two brothers had walked off.

"Weiss?" Winter called her name.

"I'm going to find out what they've dragged us into!" Her team was silent for a beat before resolving themselves, and following the former heiress.

Maria was the first to follow after them, wanting to know what would happen next. "Oho, I've got to see this." She was then followed by the Schnees and Qrow to stay with their families. Eventually, with nothing else to do, the rest followed.

When they had gotten to the lobby, they could hear them talking through the doors that led to the cafeteria. "– not watched a single minute of the original," they couldn't tell who was speaking.

With team RWBY being the front of the group, they marched in to confront the brothers. There they sat at one of the tables, in between them were bowls of herbs, lime slices, some brightly-colored sauces, and diced onions. Their plates had bits of meat, and aforementioned garnishes scattered all over them.

"And I'm telling you, it's peak. Just give it a chance." That was as far as Tee got, before the doors being slammed open and the marching started making his hangover hurt.
