The ravenette found himself embraced
by the blonde's slim arms, unable to move away from his friend's grasp. The heartache that had been present within his heart had slowly withered to the abyss.

It was just this easy, the two of them could argue, yet, Sirius would back down the moment Ace showed him the tiniest bit of warmth.

Afterall, he loved Ace too much to resist the man, he loved him so much that he couldn't bear staying upset at the other for a time longer then a mere couple of hours. But then again, he would forgive his bestfriend even just after minutes.

After being found in such a gloomy state, Ace had offered Sirius a friendly hangout, things they always used to do in middle school.

He missed the sweetness that enveloped him whenever he was within Ace's hold, he yearned for it, too.

The moment arms were wrapped around him, he froze, laying there motionlessly for a moment, his cheeks had a light pink hue plastered onto them.

He could stay like this forever, not once ha she thought of moving away from the only he loved so dearly. He couldn't give this moment away, he wouldn't dare.

He's savouring each and every second present, enjoying the love he was receiving. Even if it isn't the love he deeply wished to be given, this was enough.

It would be selfish of him to want more when he was already being given what satisfied him, along with his heart.

‘I feel.. happy... So, so happy.’ The ravenette thought to himself, a smile had slowly began forming, the light hue on his cheeks were slightly more visible now.

Ah, how many hours has passed, exactly? He doesn't know, he hadn't kept count of them. Far too busy admiring the peaceful features on Ace's face, the blonde deep in his slumber.

‘This bastard's really cute... I wish I could have you, but I can't.’ It felt unfair to be unable to reach the man he had longed for, the man who he deeply wanted to have for the past four years.

Although, he can only try his best to accept the fact that his bestfriend was now off limits for him to love romantically.

Ace was now at the hands of Veverly, the very woman who had caused him nothing but trauma and tragedy.

Yet, the blonde was not aware of this, Sirius had never told him, for the sake of avoiding to worry his dearest friend.
‘In another life, would it be me?’

He would ask to himself, and yet, he had never given himself an answer. He doesn't know, maybe they were simply just written to be doomed.

A hand of his would wander to Ace's cheek, cupping it, caressing it with such gentle care. With such a tender touch.

Oh, how Sirius wishes he could do this with Ace awake.

But, that simply isn't possible. He knows Ace all to well, and he knows, he knows that his bestfriend wasn't into men, nor did he see Sirius as more then just his bestfriend.

Yet, overtime, he learned to accept it, now, he only wished. Though, it was fine to him, because at the very least, he could still be affectionate with Ace. Just not too much, not in a way where he'd be too obvious of his feelings.
