In the fencing room, Rian couldn't calm himself down, erupting in rage as he remembered what Inha had told him. As they finished their friendly bout, it became clear that Rian had won. They decided to sit down.

"Can you check Inha's background, Woojin?" Rian asked, causing Woojin to furrow his eyebrows. "Why all of a sudden?" Woojin inquired, taking a sip from his water bottle.

"Ever since he arrived at Jooshin High, he's talked about being scared of me and trying to get on my good side. But every chance he gets, he attacks me," Rian explained, looking confused.

"It's as if he has nothing to fear," he added, glancing back at Woojin. "That sounds plausible," Woojin replied.

"When a person stops being afraid, there's usually a reason behind it. I'm suddenly curious about why that is," Rian said, turning to Woojin, who nodded in agreement. "How about Song Ellie?" he asked, leaving Rian momentarily at a loss for words.

"I'll ask her myself, but not right now," Rian decided, causing Woojin to look perplexed before he shrugged it off.

Several days passed, and the atmosphere grew increasingly gloomy. Ellie noticed Rian staring at Jae-i's empty seat, a stark reminder of her absence from school after storming out of the classroom. Ellie struggled to focus on her tasks, feeling a heaviness in her chest.

A frustrated sigh escaped her lips as she observed Rian becoming more distant. Gripping her pen tightly, Ellie pondered over lunch, lost in her thoughts.

Suddenly, Rian burst into the classroom, heading straight for Inha's desk, which silenced everyone. "Why hasn't she been answering my messages or coming to school?" Ellie heard Rian demand, referring to Jae-i's days of absence.

Inha simply looked away, visibly avoiding Rian's gaze, which only seemed to further aggravate him. "You can't just ignore me. Tell me what's going on," Rian's voice rose, causing Ellie to reluctantly pause her note-taking, her chest tightening with unease.

"It's Jae-i's business. Why do I have to answer to you?" Inha retorted, prompting Rian to sigh deeply and click his tongue in frustration.

"You don't know either, do you?" he muttered before abruptly leaving the classroom. Inha glanced at Ellie, who returned to her book, seemingly engrossed in her reading but feeling the weight of the tension in the room.

The next day, at Rian's place, Hera arrived to find him engrossed in a book. She smiled as she entered the room. "What brings you here?" Rian asked without looking up, still focused on his reading.

"I have something to say," Hera began, but Rian continued to read, making Hera swallow nervously. "I've thought about it, and there's only one card I can play. Though it doesn't suit me at all," she added, watching Rian flip a page.

"What card?" he asked, still not looking at her.

"Jae-i went to New York with Chairman Park's son," she said, causing Rian to stop and finally look at her. "It means the ship has sailed," she continued. "She's on vacation house  and plans to pick up there " she explained, watching Rian's reaction closely as he looked away.

"So, listen to me, Rian. It's all in the past. She's going to leave you, and you can't stop her. Stop using Ellie as your alibi to make her jealous. Use me instead," she urged, making Rian sigh as he glanced at the envelope on the desk.

Carefully, Rian took the envelope and opened it. Inside were photographs—many of them showing Kang Inhan and Kang Inha. He paused when he saw a particular picture of three people: Kang Inhan kissing Ellie on the cheek, and on the other side, Kang Inha holding a diploma. He gripped the photograph tightly, feeling a surge of emotion.

Hera noticed a sticky note attached to one of the photos. It read: "Kang Inha and Kang Inhan are fraternal twins."
