Chapter 4 - Dash shares a secret

RD's POV:
Me and Aj just finished band practice and I sung her my new song. She said she loved it which was a sign of relief!
'Dash,'
'Yeah aj'
'I can't have the picnic tonight'
'WHY?' I shouted in shock. This was not like Apples she never cancelled a picnic!
'Because my mum and dads anniversary.'
'But aren't they.....ummm.....dead.'
'Yeah....but it's nice celebrating their marriage and because they died together. That's a sign.'
'Oh okay. See you tomorrow?'
'Yeah if I'm not curled up in a ball crying.' She giggled
'Sure you won't! And if you do call me and I'll be there to try and cheer you up.'

I'm talking on Skype with Twilight, Flutters, Rarity, Sunset and Pinkie and one question pops into my head.

Tomorrow we'll go to Flowerton Park and go to the private place were only couples go. If Twilight and Sunset act like there a couple until I give them a code

I clicked out of Skype and got myself ready for the date! This was the time I was gonna tell AJ I have feelings for her and ask her out!

🌈 can you meet me down at Flowerton park today at 4pm?

I put down my phone and stated to get ready.
--time skip to 2:45--
Woah its 5 minutes till I have to meet the mane 5 in the park! I'm wearing my tuxedo because I hate hate dresses! I run outta my house onto my motorcycle to meet them! When I got there I was speechless. It as amazing!

AJ's POV:
look nice? I don't get it.
'hey AJ! hows ya?'

'Dash send me a text saying meet me at Flowerton Park and dress nice. I'm confused. why in the world would she
want me to dress nice?'

'NO IT ISNT!' i shout 'she likes Sorain remember?'
'oh yeah. Pinkie is throwing a party later maybe its that'
'yeah. I'll just chuck a sort of casual dress on.'
'yeah, you don't wanna too out there like pinkie!' he chuckled 'kay! I'll let ya get ready.'

I'm wearing a green skater dress that has my cutie mark on and my usual cowboy hat my dad gave me. I wore my hair in a low ponytail and my cowgirl boots. I hop in my red truck and head over to Flowerton park. I had mine and Dash's favorite song on 'Never gonna give up on you' By Rick Astley.
I start to sing the chorus to the song.

Shorty after the song finished, I was at Flowerton Park. I parked my truck and walked to the entrance.
Woah! It's so beautiful! With fairy lights and candles and Daffodils! My favorite flowers!
'Dash?' I shouted 'Dash!'
I grabbed my phone and started to text her. Please don't be a prank!

🌈- just follow the path of candles
I slowly follow the path of candels leading a hedge. A hedge! I looked for an opening. No opening! Then I heard a rustle. An opening!
I continued following the path of candles to a bench. Oh sweet Celestia! It was beautiful! Fairy lights and daffodils in a vase in the middle of the table. I sat down on the bench and heard a guitar playing. A figure came out of the bushes. It was dash! I sat there listening to her music. She was dressed up in her tuxedo. She started to sing.

'Applejack Apple will you go out with me?' Dash asked.
There was a silence then I whispered
'Yes' I said blushing
'Yes!!' Dash shouted than sat down next to me and we talked for a while.
--Time skip--5pm--
Me and Dash are lying on the grass looking up at the stars then Dash said.
'I'm glad I've finally asked you out, it's been so long but I couldn't get the time to tell you.'
'Really? How long Miss dash?' I questioned
'Since you moved to sweet Apple Acres,' she said blushing
'Really?' I say back blushing.
Suddenly Dash gets up and walks towards the bench. The bench has a stereo on it and Rd put on a slow song.
'May I have this dance my lady?' RD asked me putting out her hand.
'Yes, you may.' I say taking her hand and she gliding me across the grass. She made me feel like I was a princess at a ball with my one and only. My one and only is Dashie. She swooped my down into a position where she was holding me in her arms. We gazed into each other's eyes. A moment I'll never forget.

After we finished dancing we sat down on the bench talking about each other.
'Are you cold?' Dash asked.
'Yeah kinda' I say shivering
'Here.' Dash said taking her jacket off and putting it around my shoulders.
'Better?' Dash asked
'Better.' I say back.
Then me and Dash kissed. It was a magical moment! Her lips were so soft and sweet! I really love Dash I really do.

RD's POV:
It was the perfect time! Sitting in the moon light, hugging and then I kissed her. Her lips were as soft as silk and tasted like apples! Oh Celestia! I love Applejack! I love her more than the world can tell!

AJ's POV:
We both pulled away slowly from the kiss, I wished it lasted forever!
'Come on let's get going, I'll take you back home' Dash suggested
'How?' I say confused
'I got Big Mac to pick up the truck for you so can come with me on my motorcycle.'
'Oh ok' I say
The she swooped my down and kissed me again...
