"Let's tone it down. Everyone's gossiping about it, and Jae-i is our friend. We should respect whatever decision they've made," Hera replied, staring out the window as she gathered her thoughts.
Seo Hyun chimed in, her curiosity evident. "What about our 'sexy bad boy'?" she asked, nudging Hera. Hera took a deep breath and glanced back at Ellie, who was once again lost in her book.
"Maybe Rian's just using her to make Jae-i jealous. He'll probably get bored soon and find someone else. He's only interested in Ellie because Jae-i cares about her," Hera remarked, narrowing her eyes as she watched Ellie abruptly stand up, still absorbed in her reading.
Before Ellie could leave the classroom, Rian walked in, causing her to stop and give him a bored look. Hera observed their interaction closely, her interest peaked.
"Get out of my way," Hera heard Ellie say casually, her tone dismissive. Rian grinned and held out a piece of cake to her.
