My eyes widen at the text I just read...

I don't want to be haunted and it would be for eternity knowing Wednesday. Uhhh I can't tell Wednesday that I had the same feeling I had when she was fighting Tyler.

That is not happening. I'll just come up with something yea that should work right? Outsmart Wednesday right?

I lay on my bed with my phone on my check holding it close just try to think about what to say.

*30 min later*

I just up as I hear my mother slam my bedroom door open...great my phone goes flying out of my hand and in the direction of my bathroom hopefully it did crack.

I must have fallen asleep thinking about what to say. I rub my eyes and I'm trying to focus on the words that are coming out of my mother mouth.

You know when you are awake but not really like you can still hear things but it's muffled. Well that's exactly what is happening right now and as my mom steps closer my ears decide to unmuffle abs what I hear next isn't shocking coming from her.....

"Enid this room is a mess!!! What the hell are you doing?! You should be getting ready for lunch and not making a bigger mess! Uh I font know home you are living like this, I've seen dens cleaner than this."

I am honestly not surprised at all with her words. She does in fact make it seem like my room is distorted but it's not I have my lounge from nevermore in the corner and some shoes on the floor.

Totally not a big deal.

"I will clean up and be ready for lunch in a bit. I guess I've been a little tired from the travel it not like my dorm" I say rubbing my hands together

"And what does that mean exactly?" My mom says with a harsh tone. She takes a few steps in and I stand to stop her from coming in any further.

"I mean it was quiet in my dorm, it didn't have a bunch of boys running up and down all day or playing games all night" I say

I'm not lying, that has been keeping me up but it's not the only thing...no Enid don't start this.

"Hmm well then you can sleep later just finish up and come down it's already 12:35 and your brothers are ready to eat" she says as she turns to leave my room.

I let out a sigh of relief because that could have gone either way, where she just shakes her head or she threatens to send me away.

I sit on my bed looking around at my room when I remember I forgot to text Wednesday back. I grab my phone from the floor and open her message.

It's really nothing Wednesday I'm being honest but I do have to go my family is waiting for me to come down for lunch.

And with that I throw my phone on my bed and head down stairs. I really don't get why I get so worked up when I talk to Wednesday. She's just a friend right? She's my bestie. Yeah that's it.

My face begins to turn red as I walk down stairs. O M G am I actually falling for the Wednesday Addams.....

"Enid was is your face red? Are you thinking and that stupid gorgon boy??" My annoying brother yells out in front of the whole family.
