Snippets of Love - Multicouple OS/TS/SS

OS-2 : Anirudh ~ Bondita

"They came on my sister's wedding day, the razakars...with their guns and twisted grins. They stormed into our home, tearing apart the joy and laughter. I saw my father, a frail man, trying to shield my mother. But they dragged him away, kicking and beating him. My mother's pleas fell on deaf ears. Then their eyes fell on Sampoorna didi, my beautiful sister, they mercilessly dragged her away from her groom. When my brother-in-law tried to protect, they beat him black and blue. I saw them...I saw them rip off her clothes, her dignity. They took turns...one after another...laughing, mocking. Her screams still echo in my mind. She was... was raped infront of her husband."

Anirudh closed his eyes in anger, a tear drop escaped as he felt the pain. Others present there felt an equal amount of anger and disgust hearing the narration. Probir felt helpless as Bondita continued her narration, "They set our home ablaze, burning everything we had. I saw my younger brother, only 10 years old, clinging to my grandmother. They ripped him from her arms and threw him into the fire. His screams, oh God, his screams...my grandmother, frail and helpless, begged for mercy. But they didn't spare her as well, she too was raped..... and then the beat her, kicking her until she fell silent. When they came for my mother, she jumped into the fire to save herself. They gunned down the male members one by one."

"I was hiding, watching in horror. They found me, too. They tried to...to do the same to me. They ripped my saree, I tried to save myself but thery were too many. They pinned me down, their hands crawling over me, their lips over my bare skin devouring it like hungry animals. I thought it was the end, but someone broke free. I ran in my torned clothes and jumped into the river." Bondita's voice cracked, reliving the trauma.

"I felt to better die in the water than to be humiliated by those monsters. I swam for sometime and then lost the track of everything." Bondita said with a sad smile still leaning onto her brother.

"You're safe now, Bondita. We won't let anyone harm you." Bondita's gaze drifted to Anirudh, her eyes locking into his. There was something different about this man, but her little heart was too scared to trust anyone. His heart was heavy with sorrow and anger. Bondita's words painted a vivid picture of the atrocities committed by the razakars.

Days passed, though Bondita healed physically, her mental state was beyond repair. She stood by the river, its tranquil flow a stark contrast to her turbulent mind. She gazed into the water, memories of her lost family and home overwhelming her.

"Enough," she whispered, tears streaming down.

She took a step forward, the river's edge beckoning. Just as she was about to jump, a firm hand grasped her wrist. Anirudh held Bondita's wrists, preventing her from harming herself. Tears streamed down her face.

"Bondita, no!" Anirudh shouted pulling her back. She spinned falling in his arms, caged by his muscular build-up

"Let me go!" Bondita struggled in his hold while his held tightly

"You can't give up, Bondita. Not now." Anirudh said, his voice raised as he pulled her closer. Tears streamed down Bondita's face, her eyes pleaded, "I have nothing left. No family, no home. What's the point?"

"That's exactly why you must live. For your family's memory, for your people's freedom." Anirudh's hands moved up to cradle her face, his voice lingered with a sense of motivation. Bondita shook her head in a no citing "Apni bujhben-na.....khub koshto hoi...amar" (You won't understand.....I feel hurt..)

Anirudh's eyes softened, his thums gently rubbing off the streams of agony. "I know I won't understand what you have gone through but trust me I care. Everyone here does" His gentle voice somewhere soothed her heart.
