The writing looked so much like Dahyun's, making her assume it was from her but the signature at the end told her otherwise.

The letter was from Sunoo, the younger brother of Dahyun.
It was brief, asking her to meet him in a secluded alley near the academy at sunset.

Yn frowned, her curiosity piqued. Why would Sunoo want to meet her in such an odd place? Also why?

She hesitated for a moment, then decided to go, her curiosity overweighting her exhaustion.

--

The alley was dimly lit, Yn stood there, leaning against the wall, her arms crossed, glancing around expecting. she couldn't help but feel a little excitement. She was finally about to meet a family member of Dahyun. a step ahead of her boyf-

She was about to dive in her thoughts when a voice broke the silence, and a figure merged from the shadows

"You came," Sunoo said, stepping out of the shadows. Yn jumped, her hand flying to her chest like her heart might leap out of it. But then she recognized him.

"Uh yea, i just arrived. " She let out a slow breath, her shoulders relaxing as a small smile tugged at her lips. taking in his appearance.

The first time Y/n had imagined Dahyun's brother, she'd pictured someone tall, broad, and intimidating-the complete opposite of Dahyun's soft features. Then she'd heard how overprotective his parents were, and her mind had flipped to the other extreme: some fragile, porcelain-doll kind of boy, like a breeze might blow him away.

But the real Sunoo?

He was Dahyun's mirror image, yet undeniably his own person.

His height matched hers, maybe an inch taller. Soft, wavy hair, fluffy at the top, like he'd just rolled out of bed. a face that was all smooth curves and sharp edges. His almond-shaped eyes glinted like a fox's in the low light, playful but calculating. a small, upturned nose, lips naturally full with a defined Cupid's bow, and skin so fair it almost glowed silver under the dim streetlamp.

Yn raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "Your note was... Clear as mud, to say the least. 'Meet me at down.' with no further instructions kinda convinced Me. What's this about?"

"uh.... I need your help." He said as he thinned his lips empathizing the p

Yn caught off guard, tilted her head now focusing on his eyes "My help? With what?"

Sunoo paused as if choosing his next words carefully "My sister is missing. and i need you to help me find her."

She stared at him, dumbfounded "Wait, wait, wait. Your sister is missing, as in Dahyun is missing??!! and you're telling Me now ? have you informed everyone else?"

Sunoo sighs softly "I haven't told anyone about this. Yet"

now Yn was panicking, anxiety railing her up as she jumped on his personal space ready to ask him where he saw her at last and if he got any more information about her whereabouts

Only for him in a calm voice to declare that it wasn't Dahyun.

That sent her back, oky she's fine. "But then who is missing? Ain't the two of you the only heirs of the Kim's?

"Well..... My dad had a daughter before me and Dahyun came to existence"

"and how do you know that?"

"Because I saw her in my dream." She blinked at him

Sunoo runs a hand through his hair, clearly getting frustrated with how the conversation is going without him saying much. "I have this... ability. I see things in my dreams. The past, the future-it's not always clear, but it's real. And in my dream, you were with someone who you called Kim. Someone who i shared a lot of resembles with"
