My eyes twitch once, confused by the sudden noise
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
The alarm continues blaring as I prepare myself to exist, slowly opening my eyes and getting ready for another day
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
"Ugh... are you going to get that?" Amity says groggily
"Yeah just... just gimme a second" I say, still preparing to continue existing another day
I slowly raise my arm and press the button, thinking that I'm ready to stand, I slowly turn my body and put my feet on the floor
I look over at the sleeping beauty next to me and slowly plant a small kiss on her forehead
Third person
"Morning Hermosa" Luz says
"Good Morning Luz, are you okay?"
"Yeah, just a bit sore, that dude really came out of nowhere yesterday, and what the fuck was his problem? Dude just ran in out of nowhere and tried to fight me!" Luz sighed, "what's with people trying to fight me recently? This is the 3rd guy this month!"
"Yeah, it's strange... probably just jealous because of how beautiful you are" Amity said with a smug face, slowly starting to sit up and sliding over to Luz
"Pshh, please. We both know youre even beautifuller" Luz says with an "innocent" face
"Awww Batata... thats not a word"
"Youre just trying to misdirect me because you know its the truth" Luz says, confidently incorrect "In any case, I do need to get ready for work." Luz says, trying to push off the bed but visibly wincing in pain before falling back down
"Are you okay?" Amity says quickly, getting closer to Luz and holding her "Maybe you should just call in today," Amity said, worry strewn across her face "I saw that guy hit you pretty hard..."
"It's-" Luz grunts in pain "It's nothing I can't handle" Luz says with a pain filled grin on her face
Amity just stares knowingly "Nope, you're not going to work today, now you lie back down and I shall be taking care of you for the day" Amity says standing up
"No really, Ams I can handle it" Luz says, trying to stand up again but Amity just pushes her back down
"Nope, my mind is made, plus," Amity leans in to whisper "if you're a good girl I might get you something later~"
Luz goes wide eyed, wondering what it could be "You know I can't handle surprises! Im gonna be thinking about this all day!" Luz says with a huff
"Good, now," Amity holds her hand out "keys"
"What?" Luz says confused
"Give me your keys"
"Why?"
"Because i know you, and I know you're going to try to sneak out"
Luz fakes offense "Ah- wha- Me? Never! I'd never do that!"
Amity just looks at her stupidly "keys"
"Fine," Luz reluctantly hands them over but once they are in Amitys hands she grabs Amitys arm and pulls her in and whispers "but you better get me something awesome" Luz whispers in her ear, Luz then slowly pulls away and kisses her forehead
