She said hi to the little guy as well, blowing him a kiss, before Ross pointed her to her seat.
She sat down in a world-wind of emotions, and Mark, who was sitting beside her- squeezed her to his side, as she laughed.
Ross sat in front of her, and she had Savannah on her other side.
They continued with some small talk, all the how are you's, how life had been, and along the way- most of them picked up their own separate chats.
"Ross has mentioned you so much lately I couldn't help but wonder how you were doing. You look so different!" Stormie smiled at her.
Laura raised an eyebrow "I do? I'm certain I've been stuck with this same face since fifteen."
"How's that a bad thing?" Ross grinned at her.
"Don't act smart with me." she narrowed her eyes at him, knowing he was one second away from teasing her.
"I don't know! I can't point it out." Stormie shrugged "You look like such a grown elegant lady. What a doll- I adore it."
"Aw thank you." she gratefully smiled, nodding towards Ross' mom.
"It's wild you guys are working together again." Vanni spoke up, and Laura looked back at her "It's so much history, that's insane. How's filming went?"
Her smile dropped slightly, as she remembered the exact last scene she'd filmed with the man sitting right opposite to her.
"Ah, it's been good." she licked her lips, and when she turned Ross' eyes were already on her.
She looked away "I mean my co-stars are all pretty amazing professionals-"
"I take it as Ross isn't included in that." Rocky interrupted her.
"Of course not." she shrugged, making Rocky grin, as they shared a high five.
Ross rolled his eyes.
She laughed, looking back at Ross- who had an eyebrow raised.
"I will say.. my last scene wasn't my most professional, but shit happens, doesn't it.. Laur?"
He was trying to intimidate her, she could tell. She'd played his games a lot before- she knew how they went.
"Yes, but you're not the type of man to let it affect your performance, are you?"
He could see her amused smile, paired with the wind flowing through her hair, and the lights around her.. he almost forgot what the hell they were talking about.
I'd been confirmed that he hadn't gone insane, when his mom said the same thing about her and her apparence lately.. she'd always been pretty, but the beauty she'd been radiating lately?
It was magnetic. Somehow, it got a big stronger, a little more attractive, every time he set his eyes on her a minute too long.
"Depends on what the performance is, of course. We're all weak somewhere." he replied, picking up an apple from the table, and taking a large, harsh bite out of it.
