"Are you sure you wanna handle it yourself?" Hanbin asked.

"Yeah we can stick around," Zhanghao added.

"I'm not a baby."

"Got it."

Still a bit hesitant but trusting their friend, Zhanghao and Hanbin left him to himself, and Beomgyu approached the person next to his locker.

Why again are they next to each other?

He was barely two centimeters taller than him, roughly two years older, with black hair that grew into a mullet, typically accompanied with silver dangly hoop earrings, and had a... how to put it nicely, a relatively stern looking face.

Most people called him scary.

And Beomgyu just thought he's... reserved to put it nicely.

"What do you want from me Beomgyu?"

His sharp tongue was enough to cut through Beomgyu's zoning out.

"Nothing. Just a hello I suppose."

Bullshit I only wanted to get something from my locker.

Choi Yeonjun rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, hi."

He closed his locker and grabbed his bag, which seemed a little worn out.

Something that surprised Beomgyu.

"Didn't wanna ask your parents for cash for a new bag?" he couldn't help himself to ask.

Yeonjun glared at him.

"Shut up."

And he turned his heel, walking away from the younger. Beomgyu scoffed in disbelief, opening his locker to get some books.

"He doesn't need to be so rude!"

Beomgyu made it to the lecture room on time, and sat down.

Though he barely paid attention to what the professor was saying about marketing strategies, how affective they should be and the whatnot, and he resorted to just doodling in the corners of the pages of his notebook.

Besides, his stomach grumbling was distracting the poor thing like crazy.

Welp, can't do anything about dieting.

Luckily for him, their five minute break came faster than expected.

Beomgyu decided to eat the snacks he snuck into his bag this morning (thank goodness he did not get caught or he'd be in huge trouble).

It doesn't hurt to break the rules sometimes, right?

"You seem really hungry," Zhanghao remarked.

"Well I am."

"No wonder I saw you doodle."

Beomgyu sighed.

"You gotta do what you gotta do to distract yourself I guess."

"Ah. In that case, I'll send you my notes, and you can copy them later, how does that sound?" Zhanghao offered.

"Great, thanks Hyung."

And yes, they all could see it.

The elephant in the room.

"So, nothing much changed with him?" Hanbin asked.

"Nope," Beomgyu flatly replied.

His cheeks were stuffed with food, and he most certainly did not wanna sigh with the risk of a few crumbs involuntarily slipping down his throat

"Dang, you guys hate each other that much?" Zhanghao questioned.

"Clarification, we don't hate each other, but I don't get why he doesn't even look me in the eye. I mean, what the hell did I do to him?!"

That last part came out as a yell that would catch the attention of anyone.

"SHHH!!" a bunch of guys hissed.

"Don't say that to Beomgyu oppa!" a girl exclaimed.

"Leave him alone!" another one yelled.

Beomgyu rolled his eyes in annoyance, whereas Hanbin and Zhanghao just laughed.

"At least you have your fangirls to cheer you up," Zhanghao said.

"Fangirls that need to stop spamming my Instagram DMs 24/7 and asking me questions that I don't need," the model grumbled.

"Well, there's always making your account private. Then you will only have message requests instead," Hanbin suggested.

"My insta is managed by my parents, and the last thing they'll allow me to do is to make my account private. Marketing reasons."

"Oh."

Beomgyu shrugged, brushing it aside.

"Anyways, I got you guys some VIP tickets to see the modeling event tomorrow evening. Do you guys wanna come—"

"And you're asking us that question?" Zhanghao asked.

"Uh—"

"HAND 'EM OVER ALREADY!"

"Okay okay."

The auburn haired unzipped a pocket of his bag and handed the tickets over to the two of them.

"Have fun, but don't steal the show by being so romantic," Beomgyu said.

"Oh come on, that was one time!" Hanbin protested.

"And you guys swore you'll do it again."

"Guilty."

"Can we visit you backstage?" Zhanghao asked.

Beomgyu shook his head.

"Sadly no; I couldn't get VIP passes. You can meet me after the show is over, but before the show, unfortunately not."

"Okay, that works for us," Hanbin said.

"Cool."

And then the break was sadly over.
