It was Monday, the day the school week usually began; except this day was a teacher's day which meant you could do anything you wished to do. And of course, you decided it was the perfect day to get some extra studying in.
You planned to go to the library and then to maybe some of your favourite stores nearby. Goro, who was sitting on his futon and playing with Teddy, told you he would pass when you'd invited him along. He thought you were crazy for studying on a free day.
"I need to get me a possum too!" He said while smiling at Teddy. You hadn't known what to think of Goro at first, but Teddy seemed to take to him so that made him alright in your books.
And then your peaceful morning felt invaded by a single message. Goro must have noticed a shift in your demeanor because he asked if you were alright with worry in his voice.

As you read the message, you felt your stomach flip and your heart flutter. He was everything you'd ever dreamed of – he was a dear friend first but the love you felt for him was far outside the lines of friendship. You thought of a reply, thought of what you wanted.

Since you had wanted to do some studying anyway, you decided to carry on with your original plans to go to the library, except now Ennoshita would accompany you. It didn't take him very long to arrive and when you saw him, you felt that you had all the answers.
It was in this moment of spotting him, seeing that he was really there and just a few meters away from you that you noticed how tight your throat had been and how weak your body felt; you began to cry.
As soon as he saw a single tear drop from your eye, Ennoshita rushed over and ushered you onto a vacant bench where he knelt in front of you and began to wipe each falling tear from your face.
You had felt so scared and you hadn't even taken notice. It was only with Ennoshita that you felt you could truly feel and be so vulnerable. It was what you needed; Ennoshita, right there and not saying anything at all. But then all of a sudden you felt you needed him to answer one final question for you, though this time you needed him to use his words.
"Will you stay with me?" You asked. To Ennoshita, this was such a silly question as there was no hesitation in his heart for you. "Yes," he said, "Forever."
