i was taller than most kids,
yet they already had a glimpse
on how fun the world is.
i was defeated within my baracades.

i watched them make memories,
how they felt the sun breeze.
i was conscious enough to know
that i wanted to feel that too.

behind the curtain doors,
is the pallete of the expanded world.
the reality of the pigment on my toys,
the inspiration for my crayons.

the younger me and i has a strange fact,
somehow some thoughts stayed intact.
something us two can comprehend,
is that we both wanted our time to extend.
