Dean's POV:
I was rudely awakened by my alarm blaring in my ear. ‘Yay, first day of school.’ I thought to myself. I am not excited.
I hit snooze and finally decided to get up after it went off the second time.
I got up and made my way down the hall to my little brother's room, “GET. YOUR. LAZY. ASS. UP.” I spoke in between hitting Sam with a pillow.
“Ughh,” Sam groaned and rolled over, burying his face in his pillow. I sighed and ripped the covers off of Sam in one swift movement.
“Deaannn!” Sam whined and tried to grab the blanket but I ran away with it, cackling as I sprinted down the stairs.
I went into the kitchen and saw Ellen making eggs and pancakes, “Aww,” My mouth watered as I saw the food, “I love you,” I exaggerated.
Ellen just chuckled, “Is your brother up?” She asked, just as she asked Sam came walking zombie-like down the stairs, his hair a mess while rubbing his eyes.
“Speak of the Dev-” I paused and looked at Sam's hair for a minute, “Dude, just give me like, five minutes with some clippers,” I gestured around my head. “mh, shut up,” Sam grumbled and ran his fingers through his hair, flattening it down.
“Bobby go into work early?” I asked, turning my attention back to Ellen. “Yeah, he left a few minutes ago.”
Ellen continued flipping the pancakes. “Hand me a couple plates, would ya’?” She asked me, I went over to the cabinets, grabbed three plates, and handed them to Ellen.
“There’s coffee over there if y'all want any.” She lazily waved her hand over her shoulder to the coffee pot.
“Thank God,” I mumbled as I grabbed a mug and coffee.
Sam followed me over to the coffee and got him a cup also, and then we both sat down in the dining room for breakfast.
Ellen had already had plates ready on the table.
“Boys, eat quick, you have to leave soon.” Ellen told us. Sam and I didn’t say anything we just started eating faster.
After I got done I went up to my room to get ready. I decided on a black AC-DC shirt, an old pair of blue jeans, a red flannel, and brown boots.
I grabbed my backpack and ran downstairs.
“Sammy, come on!” I yell from the bottom of the steps.
“Coming!” He responded. He came down the stairs in a Star Wars shirt, jeans, a blue flannel, and light blue converse.
“Bye Ellen!” We both yelled halfway out the door.
“Bye boys! Have a good day at school!”
We walked over to my ‘67 chevy Impala. “Hey, Baby! ‘Ya miss me?” I ran my hand along her hood. “Do yall need a minute? I mean I can go,” Sam teased. “Yea, yea, shut up.” We hopped in and threw our backpacks in the middle seat in between us. I start the engine and we take off towards the school.
I started blaring my music, ignoring Sam’s pleas to turn in down.
Once we arrive to the school I park Baby and sigh, then I turn to Sam, “You ready Sammy?” He turns to me and now it’s his turn to sigh, “Yea,” He looked at
me for a second, “And it’s Sam. Sammy is a chubby twelve year old.” I rolled my eyes, “Yeah, whatever bitch.” I mumbled to Sam. “Jerk.” He instantly shot back.
We grab our backpacks and walk up to the school.
“Hey, and Sammy,” I look at him trying my best to copy his puppy dog eyes that always work on everyone, “Please try to talk to someone.” I emphasize ‘try’. Sam has really bad social anxiety, which causes him to not speak in public places. “I’ll try.” He looked down. “Okay, thank you.” He just nodded in response.
