I went to the toilet to text the gang and tell them why I got myself in trouble. After that I returned back to the room, my assignment was to write a 2 page apology to Ms Ball 🙄.

'Finally' I said to myself as they let us out of the detention room. I made my way to the school front doors as i exited the building. It's Friday evening and my auntie isn't home till Monday evening as she's away working, I guess I'll just get comfy and catch up on some movies I've been wanting to see for a while.
"Yo" I heard someone call out to me as they pulled up next to me, it was Latrelle SHIT. "Oh hi Latrelle.." I said "Get in ma, lemme give you a ride" he said. "Oh okay.. um thank you" I said opening the door and seating in the passenger side. "How did you know I was here?" I asked him bc he truly couldn't have none that I was still at school like we don't even have the same teachers. "Easy I've got eyes and ears everywhere" he said with his eyes on the road. "Oh" I said a bit surprised. "You're coming with me so now you won't have an excuse" he said. I tried thinking of an excuse to give him "about thattt.. i can't possibly wear this to the party" I said to him. "Trust me you look fine, you could make a trash bag look sexy" he said smiling at me, i couldn't help but crack a smile he really knows how to play with my mood. "We're here" he said parking right infront of my house. "I'll be back give me 30min" I said getting out of the car. "Bet" he replied.
Welp🙂 I really tried, but here I am looking through my closet finding an appropriate outfit for tonight.

I decided to redo my makeup and that alone took another half an hour, Latrelle kept on blowing up my phone trying to get me to hurry up. I picked up the call "I'm coming! I'm coming down now i promise" I said into the phone before hanging up. I quickly made my way downstairs and locked the house. I got in his car "Sorry for keeping you waiting" I said. He just eyed me "damnnn" he said under his breath. "You look so fucking fine" Latrelle said completely sitting back and taking a good look at me. "You're not leaving my side" he said entering overprotective mode I just laughed at him.
We drove to his side of the town, I was starting to get nervous all over again as I looked around and as ruby, monse, jasmine, and Jamal's words just replied in my head. I was snapped out out my thoughts by Latrelle placing his hand on my leg i didn't realise I was bouncing it up and down "You straight?" He asked me looking a bit worried. "Honestly no.." I sighed. "What's wrong?" He asked pulling over to the side of the road to give me his full undivided attention. "I'm scared, I've never been to anything like this before, shit I've never really done anything like this before. I've heard about the prophet$ and how shoot outs are a regular occurrence, I'm too young to die😭. Plus I don't know how everyone is going to be at this party, like this really isn't my scene at all" I said rambling but finally getting everything out of my chest. Latrelle held my hand "listen ma, you ain't got to worry about anything I promise you. I said it before I'm not leaving you alone, I'll make sure to keep you close to me all night don't worry" he said as he brought his free hand up to my face and caressed my cheek. I don't know if i should believe him but as I'm looking in his eyes he looks really sincere. "Okay" I said. And he started the car "oh and don't drink anything unless i personally give it to you" he said said. "Okay got it- oh and btw i just realised i never gave you my address how tf did you know where my house was🤨???" I questioned. "I've got my ways" he said smirking as he parked his car. "Ohhh hell nahh" I said trying to open the car bc I realised that he knows too much. "Too late now princess we're already here😂" he said. We got out of the car.
"Okay remember what I told, and don't worry I've got you" he said putting his arm around my waist pulling me closer to him. I'm kind of nervous but being next to Latrelle kind of calms me down. I hope everything goes well😀
