Saving Time

"It doesn't! He acts like he'd be able to tell if the clocks were a little off! He wouldn't be able to tell." Mordecai said. "Are you two kidding? It's Benson, of course he'd notice." (Y/n) argued, and the duo look at her in disbelief. "What? Are you saying that Benson would actually notice something like that? No way, (Y/n)." Rigby said. They drink more soda. "You know what, though? Technically we agreed to set all the clocks at the same time... but we didn't say anything about setting the clocks at the right time." Rigby said, and (Y/n)'s eyes widen at that. "What exactly are you suggesting?" She asked.

"How about we do what Benson says and set all the clocks back for Daylight Savings, but first, we set every clock in the park to the same wrong time, just to show Benson and everybody else that it doesn't even matter?" Rigby asked. "And then we'll come up to Benson in the middle of the day tomorrow and be like, "Hey Benson, all the clocks are wrong. You had no idea, did you?" Mordecai said. "What?!" (Y/n) instantly jumps off from the sofa, then turns frantically to her best friends. "Messing with time?! Are you serious?! That's a terrible idea!" She shouted.

The duo looked confused by her sudden outburst. "Whoa, (Y/n), chill. What's the big deal?" Rigby asked her skeptically. "Yeah, it's just a little payback." Mordecai said, and (Y/n) quickly shakes her head. "You two don't understand!" She shouted. "Oh yeah, what don't we understand, (Y/n)?" Mordecai asked. "Yeah, (Y/n), tell us." Rigby said. "Just trust me on this one, okay? It's a bad idea!" She shouted. "But why though?" Rigby asked. "Why are you acting like this? It's like you've made some kind of mistake with time yourself or something." Rigby's eyes widen before he looks over at her. "Wait, that isn't the case, is it?" He asked. "Uh..." (Y/n) said.

~Flashback~

(Y/n) puts all the clocks in the microwave. "(Y/n), what are you doing? You can't do that!" Rigby shouted. "Can't do what? This?" She shuts the microwave door, turns on the microwave, and the clocks melt. "Now you'll never be on time for your dudes night!" She shouted. The duo jump on her. "Gimme back those clocks!" Mordecai shouted. "Never!" (Y/n) shouted. They fight, but then (Y/n) accidentally gets tackled to the microwave, which teleports them away through a powerful electrical surge. The trio scream as they move in top speed.

"What's your problem?! Why do you have to be jealous all the time?!" Rigby asked. "Shut up! This is all your fault! I finally get a chance to ask out Sam, but you both had to butt in and ruin everything! Just like always!" She shouted. She then saw the hurt look on their faces, and actually felt the need to apologize, but then... "No, we didn't! We just wanted to see Zombie Dinner Party with our best friend, who flaked on us, for some boy who doesn't even know she exists!" Rigby shoves her. (Y/n) was now furious. "I HATE BOTH OF YOU!" (Y/n) then shoves them off the microwave. They fall off the microwave and yell, and their bodies disintegrate and become dust. 

~Present~

"No." She said quickly, looking away from them, and the duo look at her a tad suspiciously. And she sighs and turns back to them. "Okay maybe, but I just don't want you two to make the same mistake!" She shouted. "What exactly did you do, (Y/n)?" Mordecai asked curiously. "You don't want to know." She said quickly. "But I do want to know, that's why I asked." Mordecai said. "Just drop it, Mordecai!" She shouted, and the duo flinch back from her sudden anger. "Okay!" He said, and (Y/n) sighs. "All I know is, you mess with time, it tends to mess back. Be careful."

She warned, before they watched (Y/n) go upstairs, and they assumed to her bedroom. "Geez, what the heck could she have done that was so bad?" Rigby asked. "No idea, dude." Mordecai shrugs. "I mean it's (Y/n), it's not like she could have done something THAT bad, right?" Rigby asked. "Of course not, dude." Mordecai said. "Well, I can't wait to see the look on Benson's face when we tell him!" Rigby said, trying to lighten the mood. "Man, this is gonna be awesome!" Mordecai said. "WHOOO!" Rigby sprays Mordecai's face with soda. "Daylight Savings!" He shouted. "Aw, come on, dude! I gotta wash my face, now!" Mordecai said angrily. Later, the duo change the clocks everywhere in the park while rapping.
