Seeing is believing

Start from the beginning

I found Jeremy's door and knocked, "Jeremy?" I lightly called. Yet I didn't get an answer, He's probably already back with everyone at the cafeteria.

I checked and see the door is unlocked and went in, And gotta say, Jeremy's room is not bad. Even has a computer on his desk.

I found my books on Jeremy's bed and couldn't help but hum a song as I pick them up and stack them in my arms. "Hello? Is someone there?" A voice suddenly spoke and a pretty girl that has an appearance of an elf with pink clothes and hair appeared on Jeremy's Computer, which startled me.

"Oh my goodness!" I yelped, Nearly dropping my books yet quickly regained my balance.

"O-oh! I'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." She apologized, seeing concern on her face if I was okay.

I reassure her with a kind smile and said "It's okay. I'm alright." Then I stepped a little closer and see she really is pretty, "And I've never seen someone like you before." I complimented.

"Oh, Well thank you." She smiled, then she must've noticed something then said "Hang on, Your face... it looks almost a lot like my friend Ulrich's."

"Oh, Yeah. We get that a lot. Mostly everyone would think we're twins. We got that from our moms whom are twins." I chuckled, then I remembered I didn't introduce myself yet.

"Oh, And I happen to be his cousin. I'm Zelda, Zelda Woods." I kindly greeted with a formal bow, while holding my books in one arm.

"Oh! You're Ulrich's cousin? It's nice to meet you too, Zelda. I'm Aelita." She greeted back with a happy smile. So she's Aelita. Her name fits her wonderfully.

"Aelita... That's a beautiful name." I complimented. "Hehe, Thank you. And your humming was very beautiful, Zelda. I bet even your singing is too." She smiled, complimenting me back.

"Wha-? Well-I.... Uh, I... Hehehe, I guess. But I'm not sure if I'm the right one for the auditions. Odd and the others are holding them today." I sighed, unsure of myself.

I know I want to be a great singer someday, But I'm... just not noticed by anybody, Like I'm invisible. But Will sees me, He gets me.

And now it seems, Aelita sees me too. "I'm sure they'll notice, Zelda. You just need to have faith and courage, Okay? I'll be rooting for you." She assure with kind and encouraging words.

And they worked like a charm, Feeling she's right. I took a deep breathe, calming my nerves and smiled. "Thank you, Aelita. You're right. I should get to practicing in the forest with my singing. I'll see you later?"

"Definitely. Good luck!" She nodded, bidding farewell as her icon went off.

"You too." I smiled, then went out of Jeremy's room and hurry over to mine in the girl's dormitory and put away my books.
