How can a person write about something they don't know if they truly experienced

There are good things
Happy things
Things to gloat about
I live for moments that are so far and few between

How do you cope when you seem to be the thing you hate the most
How do you live when all you can think about is death
How do you live when you can feel yourself dying inside
How do you live for one person
How do you tell a person "Because of you and your moments I'll suffer"
"I'll suffer for you"
"I'll live for you just for now"
"Until I can live for myself"
