Tara woke up from her evening nap, her gaze drifting to the nearby small wooden table. It was a place that once held a delightful array of treats-milk or lassi, sour raw mango mixed with salt and a bit of spicy masala, or sweets.

Each item carefully chosen to satisfy her cravings, even before they knew about her pregnancy. But now, after he left for America, the table remained bare, a silent witness to the void that had settled in their home.

As Tara stretched and sat up, memories flooded her mind. She remembered the warmth of his gestures, the way he anticipated her needs with such care and thoughtfulness.

Even before they discovered she was expecting, he was attentive to her every whim. From laying out clean clothes on the bed after her bath to coming into the room at night to massage her feet with oil when she lost in embrace of sleep with Manik in her arms, he showed his love in every action.

But what struck Tara the most was his discretion. Despite her lingering fear of him, he never forced himself into her space after what cruelty he done with their relationship. Instead, he waited until she was out of sight to perform these acts of tenderness.

It was his silent way of showing her that he cared, that he wanted to make their relationship feel normal and filled with happiness, even after learning about her pregnancy.

Now, with him gone, the absence of those small acts of love left a palpable void in their home.

The emptiness seemed to echo off the walls, a constant reminder of his absence. As Tara gently rubbed her belly, feeling the flutter of life within, she couldn't help but long for his presence, for the warmth of his touch, and the reassurance of his love.

As the sun began its slow descent below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the terrace, Tara settled into her favorite spot, a cozy corner overlooking the tranquil surroundings.

The gentle evening breeze whispered through the air, carrying with it the faint scent of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass.

Tara's hands tenderly cradled her 5-months and 2 weeks baby bump, feeling the fluttering movements of her unborn child, as Manik, her little bundle of joy, chased after Mannu, with unrestrained laughter and giggles echoing in the air.

Mannu darted across the terrace, his tail wagging excitedly as he dodged Manik's attempts to catch him. Manik, determined and full of energy, giggled with delight as he chased after his furry companion, his tiny feet pitter-pattering on the tiled floor.

The sky above was painted in hues of pink and orange, streaks of purple blending seamlessly with the fading light. Fluffy clouds drifted lazily across the horizon, their shapes morphing and changing with each passing moment, creating a breathtaking tapestry of colors.

As Tara watched the playful scene unfolding before her, a sense of peace settled over the terrace, enveloping her in its comforting embrace.

Lost in the beauty of the moment, Tara couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the beauty of the evening.

With each passing moment, the sky grew darker, the vibrant colors of sunset giving way to the soft hues of twilight.

Stars began to twinkle overhead, their faint light casting a gentle glow upon the terrace, adding to the magical ambiance of the evening.

Amidst the playful scene, Tara suddenly felt a series of hard kicks from her unborn baby, causing her to gasp in surprise.

With a hand resting on her belly, she watched in amazement as her abdomen bulged and shifted with each powerful kick.
