"Ok." Surbhi closed her eyes and joined her hands to make a wish.

"Please keep my family happy." She prayed. And then opened her eyes.

She then blown the candles and cut the cake. She took a piece of cake in her hands to feed Ekansh. But Ekansh had some other plans.

"No.. First you have to eat this." Ekansh said.

"I want to feed you first." Surbhi said.

"I won't eat if you'll not eat first." Ekansh said.

"Aap itne ziddi kyu hai Ekansh?" Surbhi was pissed off by his behavior.
(Why are you so stubborn?)

"Because...*sigh* My wish." Ekansh said earning a eye roll from her.

Surbhi sighed and put that piece of cake in her mouth. Then quickly Ekansh came near her and captured her lips. Surbhi didn't get time to proceed what just happened. She closed her eyes when she feels his tongue entering her mouth.

He pushed his tongue inside her mouth. Tasting the cake which was inside her mouth. He explored every corner of her mouth making sure no particle of cake was left. He broke the kiss and smirked while looking at her flustered face. Her mouth was slightly open, shock was clearly visible on her face.

"See... That how you feed your husband,  wifey." Ekansh said.

"I know wifey I am handsome.. But you can stare at me later... Akhir tumhara he toh pati hu." Ekansh said and winked.
(After all I am your husband only.)

"Now let's open the gifts." Ekansh said pulling her towards the gifts.

"These are-." Surbhi's eyes widened after seeing nearly fifty gift boxes.

"Not much.. I know." Ekansh said in a disappointed tone.

"NOT MUCH!!? IT'S TOO MUCH EKANSH."  Surbhi screamed.

"Really?" Ekansh said.

"Absolutely." Surbhi said.

"Thank you so much for this Ekansh." Surbhi hugged Ekansh.

"Your most welcome... Now open the gifts." Ekansh said. Surbhi broke the hug and said "okay."

Then she started opening the gifts. There were perfumes, wrist watch, bouquet, rings, dresses and dozens of earrings. But the thing which made her most happy was Chocolates and books.

"So you liked it?" Ekansh asked.

"Loved it." Surbhi beamed with joy.

Ekansh smiled.

"These earrings are looking like they are made of real diamonds." Surbhi said as she noticed the shine of the earrings.

"Because they are diamonds." Ekansh casually said.

"WHAT?" Surbhi shouted.

"What?" Ekansh said.

"You are saying that these are real diamonds?" Surbhi asked once again to confirm.

"Umm.. Yeah." Ekansh said.

"Road ke side wli dukano mai ye hundred ke mil jate. Aap asli heera kyu khrid laye." Surbhi face palmed herself.

(These earrings would have cost hundred in road side stores. Why you brought real diamonds?)

"Why? You didn't liked it?" Ekansh said.

"It's not like that Ekansh.. I love them.. But these are very expensive. You don't have to waste this much money on me." Surbhi said.

"I am not wasting money on you. Don't you dare to say that again!" Ekansh said and pulled Surbhi closer.
