Uneasy Feeling

Ariah's Pov

"Are you sure about this?" I asked Ryan while contemplating whether to tell him how scared I am or just shut up.

"Stop being a fucking coward, Ariah. It's not like this is our first time" he hissed and started packing.

"BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT, RY!!! WE COULD DIE!!!" I shouted but he doesn't budge.

He stared at me and sighed.

"Ariah, you know I'll take care of you, right? I wouldn't let any harm come to you. I know you want to do this, you are just scared because you are right, this is different, but meeting new people doesn't always go bad. I have already run a research in that island and I promise you there is nothing wrong or to worry about. People there are good with visitors." He caresses my hair and asks me if we are good.

"I guess. I'm sorry I shouted. It's just that I'm worried about us" I told him as he hugged me.

I started packing and prays to God for us to have a successful trip. I was still worried since this is new to me, going to an island that is dangerous because people there are cannibals.

Ryan and I are childhood bestfriends, we spent most of our time exploring places. We both love traveling and visiting islands since we were 15. We are both 21 now and is living on our own. Our parents were bestfriends, that is why we both can't be easily separated. Lmao.

As I was busy thinking about the outcomes, I did not notice the two girls coming in.

"What's with the look on your face? Aren't you excited? This isn't you, Ariah" a teasing Tianna comes in front of me. I just gave her a knowing look.

"I'm also worried, but it doesn't mean I'll back down." said Lia and proceeds to smoke.

"ARIAHHHHH MY DARLINGGGGG. YOU ARE SO GORGEOUSSS" Comes Matteo, smothering my cheeks with kisses.

"Stop it, Matt. You are literally disgusting" I said shoving Matteo away from me, but not before wiping his saliva. Yuck.

"Let's go, everyone. Devin is waiting outside" said Ryan as we started moving.

"Is he the one driving?" asked Matteo

"What do you think? Stop being so stupid, Matt. It's his Van ofcourse he's not gonna trust anybody with his baby" Lia hissed

"The fuck are you on your period?" Matteo smirks.

"Oh wait that's not gonna happened. Your ex got you pregnant" Matteo laughs loudly making Lia shakes in anger.

"FUCK YOU MATTEO I'M NOT PREGNANT!!!" Lia huffs and gets in the car. Both still bickering each other.

We traveled quietly as we overthink what will happen to us if we set foot on the island. But Ryan, as usual, keeps calming us and saying positive stuff to ease our worries. It was alarming, actually; the stories I've heard are not close to what Ryan told us. In fact, they were terrifying. People who have gone there didn't come back, and of course, I told Ryan and the guys about this, but all they did was shut me up, for all I was bluffing is nonsense.
