Apocalypta

Prologue

[Author's Note; I will post new story segments every 20 chapters. ^^ Work in progress.

*Scene is introduced to a completely destroyed city, as a giant snake slithers among the rubble, and a hoard of zombies roam forward. A few demons of varying looks walked by, and a giant hound barks at a building*

New York, 2157.

Narrator;
"Now, you're probably wondering what this mess is. Let's just say this isn't necessarily the environment you grew up in. Why is this world so disgusting and decrepit? That all began on April 19th, of the year 2145..."

*Scene zooms to the right, as the New York City you are familiar with comes into view, cars beeping, people walking, and casual noise.*

"This is what things used to look like. When the Earth wasn't this way. There were countries of normality, cities with skyscrapers that reached for the clouds."

*The Empire State Building is brought into view as the camera races across the map, moving to the scene across continents, to a factory in Finland.*

"But there was a mistake. Something strange went wrong, giving birth to a terrible virus, sending the Earth into panic as it found its way around the world, devouring the life. Zombies, demons, and horrible beings of death and destruction."

*The Camera switches to 10 years later, in the country of Germany, as a truck zooms by at immense speed with three adults on it.*

Berlin, Germany

*A tall, Thai boy was rummaging in the back of the truck, a Russian boy was in the drivers seat with a chill expression, and a Namibian girl with black skin and thick, perfect thin-braided hair was in the back seat, holding on for dear life*

"These three idiots are some of the last remaining survivors. They are brave, courageous! Starved.. I mean excited! And best of all? I have absolutely, positively, definitely NO CLUE HOW THEY'RE STILL ALIVE!"
