As I lay in bed
With a heavy head
A monster lurks
As if at work
It envelopes my body
Takes over my sanity
Leads my mind in the darkness
Eats me up heartless
Falling as its pray
It starts to say
"what if "
Making me stiff
And as my brain rolls
It puts up a role
Of overthinking
Despite me fighting
I urge it to stop
my heart begins to drop
As racing thoughts
Begin to assault
My ever-aching soul
My limited goals
Until everything becomes
Until I cannot move nor run
And as I lay there
Motionless, scared
I begin to hate
My mind's fate
ESTÁ A LER
