Kentrell hummed to Alphabet by Lud Foe that loudly blasted through his AirPods, absentmindedly scanning packages. He was so accustomed to doing the task, his body just moved its self.

It's been a few weeks since everything had transpired, to say he'd been the same would be a lie.

He wasn't.

Not in a bad way, but the male was on his mind heavy. He thought he would let it go by now. Figuring that everything went back to normal once he seen no signs of him, but it was just to insane that he welcomed a merman in his home... and give minor English lessons.

He couldn't lie, he felt smart teaching somebody instead of being the person who always learned something.

Anyhow, the hazel eyed still regrets not thanking him for helping with the men that were stepping on his turf. He figured it was probably instinct to protect. Although, he couldn't help but to still feel a bundle of nerves creep up his spine watching how the creature handled them.

No homo, though.

Kentrell hoped he was okay down there—wherever he was.

"Aye." Someone tapped the distracted man, "it's yo break."

"Ight, bet. 'Preciate it." He mumbled, turning down his music a bit. Going into the break room.

He grabbed his cherry flavored Gatorade out the fridge. Chugging some of it down, taking a seat in one of the empty chairs near the table. He was so grateful it was AC in there.

It felt outstanding after feeling like he sweated off pound.

Opening his Instagram page, the first post being Durk. The older touched up his roots to match his blonde locs. He remembered when the man told him he was going to regrow his hair back after having waves for a while. If he never cut them back those years ago, his locs would've been down his back by now.

But his friend went through different phases every other season, if he was being honest.

He looked to be posted in the studio. Damn, why he didn't invite him. They looked high as hell; his type of party.

'Why you ain't invite me bitch 💚'

He commented under his post, double tapping it. Scrolling past it.

After a few more minutes of scrolling through his following, he randomly decided to visit his explore page. The man never really used it.

He scoffed when he saw a bunch of mermaid related things. He's starting to think the government was watching him because how?

Just as he was about to click on a post about them, someone entered the break room.

It was one of his coworkers; Key.

They'd been working together for a while now. Acquainted with each other, not friends, though. There were times when Ke'Asha would attempt to flirt with him. Depending on his mood, he'd indulge in the act.
