My 5sos Brother (Michael/Ashton)

Chapter 3

Before the teacher turned up to class, I quickly slipped out of the classroom to start my search for Katie. 

I felt so bad for not going with her to stalk my brother but I really had no choice. I couldn't afford to have anyone find out that Ashton is my brother, I would never be treated the same ever again!

I eventually found her in our year group's common room, her eyes glued to her phone as she listened to whatever was blasting through her earphones. Every now and then she would let a small giggle escape her lips and a cheesy grin would plaster her face. She was happy. 

I made my way over to her a perched next to her, hoping she would remove the earphones from her ears in order to listen to me. 

Katie took no notice of me. She was probably ignoring me on purpose, I wouldn't be surprised and I also wouldn't blame her. She could literally hate my guts right now, and honestly I would understand why.

I tapped her arm, hoping to get her attention. She was slightly shocked but continued to pause the video and remove her earphones. She slowly looked up from her phone and looked at my face, blankly. 

"hey Katie, why aren't you in class?" I asked, softly.

"didn't really feel like going to be quite honest...why aren't you in class?" She replied, bluntly. 

"Well, I originally was but when you didn't turn up, I left to look for you!" I said.

"Was sir okay with that?" Katie questioned, shocked.

"sir doesn't know..." I laughed, as Katie joined me. 

We both sat back onto the comfy sofa behind us as Katie continued watching the video on her phone as I text Ash.

Me: Yo, Ash!

Bro: Heyy, what's up?

Me: So, you know Katie, my best friend who like loves you guys?

I can't believe I'm doing this...

Bro: Yeahh?

Me: Well, would it be okay if she slept round tonight and met you? She doesn't have to meet the other guys but can she? please?!

Ash: Does she know you're my sister then?!?

Me: nooo, it'll be a surprise for when she sleeps round! She won't find out until she turns up and you're just casually there XD

Ash: Well, sounds good to me! Of course she can sleep round!! :)

Me: THANKS ASH!!!! 

It wasn't until Katie poked me that I realised I was crazily smiling at my phone.

"Soph, are you okay?" Katie asked, laughing at my facial expression.

"yeah, everything's fine!! Do you want to sleep round tonight?"

"I don't mind! If that's okay with your mum!" she replied.

"Well it's Friday so she'll be away at work! FREE HOUSE!" I said, shouting the last part and slightly lying.

Katie laughed at my previous remark before helping me plan every movie we would watch that night and what food we would have to buy.

Last lesson went super slow but eventually the bell rang and it was time for our sleepover. 

As I had my own car, I dropped Katie off at her house to get her things for tonight whilst I went to the shop for food and films that we had previously planned to buy.

School finished at 3:00 and Katie had already arranged for her mum to drive her to my house for 4:00. 

It was now 3:45 and I was currently putting away the food I had bought at the shop. This took 5 minutes before I texted Ashton at 3:50.

Me: you home? Katie will be ten minutes!

Ash: Yep! I'm upstairs!

 I began to reply to Ashton before I was interrupted by the door bell. I instantly knew who it would be and I instantly got nervous. I don't really know why I was nervous, possibly because I was about to reveal the biggest secret I have ever had and I really don't know how Katie will react at all. 

I opened the large, heavy front door to reveal a very excited Katie holding all of her bags. This included her 5sos bag, containing her pyjamas which consisted of a 5sos top and plain black shorts.

We both squealed as me made eye contact and I gestured for her to enter. 

She ran inside and we both ran straight up to my bedroom where she dumped all of her bags before noticing my iPhone docking station and speakers. 

Katie looked at me and smirked before hopping towards it and plugging her phone in.
