Avni's Pov:

I collected the packet, there was a pendrive in it. I plugged in the pendrive, and there was a video call from We Three. It's our whatsapp group which has me, Amaira and Navya. I received the call from my mobile and started the video on my laptop. I had an eye on the laptop and everything seemed fine only, on the other Amaira was laughing at Navya for something stupid she just did, Navya was as usual trying to defend her stupid action. And I was just watching them annoyingly. Suddenly I was focused on the laptop as I could see Vyom entering the flight and right next to me. I shushed both of them, paused the video, shared the same video, told them the time stamp and asked them to play the video from there. After that all three of us watched that video.

Author's Pov:

Avni, Amaira and Navya watched the entire video. They watched or you can say more precisely Navya and Amaira because Avni was reliving everything again. Things she never even in her best dreams she had regarding Vyom actually happened there in flight. Soon the video ended, Amaira and Navya's faces held different emotions, but they knew Avni needed some time.
This bantering video call of theirs had never predicted to get into this track. Amaira was constantly looking at Avni more than the video. Avni and Amaira always held a different connection, if Navya was Avni's kiddo then Amaira was her soul sister. Even sitting miles apart Amaira was feeling Avni's pain. In that video Avni suffered in that nightmare hours back but Amaira was suffering just by watching it, she felt her body getting cold, her hands started shivering watching Avni madly thrashing and yelling Navya's name. If not Navya sitting beside her, she would have been on her knees sobbing. She loves Avni to this extent that one happy event in Avni's life can become a part of Amiara's life and one sad news of hers can make her cry. Not only Amaira but all three of them had this kind of love for each other.
" I-I need to wake up early tomorrow, as today's meeting got postponed and has been scheduled for tomorrow. I am going to sleep, you both also go. Will talk tomorrow. " Avni said and disconnected the call. Her trembling hands, quivering lips and moist eyes didn't go unnoticed by the other two. But they also knew that she need her personal space.

Vyom's Pov:

I was in the conference room as the meeting about to start. Mr. Wong the chairman, he is a very nice person, this is my first time here and he gave such a warm welcome. He even seemed genuinely interested in knowing my company growth. While talking to him I got to know how he is even keeping a track of the company's progress and how impressed he is with the company's recent achievements.
" Mr. Dixit I have met many Ceo's and Coo of various companies. In every meet all they do is try to fool me or in their language impress me, some by bringing me their countries most expensive wine while others by getting different gifts. But till today only a few have been able to come into my spotlight, they are the individuals who have successfully wooed me with their hardwork and genuine nature. And you my son, you remind me of Avni, Avni Mehra she isn't like you but a lot like you. If that makes sense to you " he laughed while saying the it. " She didn't start Mehra Corporations but did take it to heights, from where one can never bring it down. Her hardwork shines in her eyes her dedication can be seen in her actions and her personality speaks everything on her behalf. Without even saying a single word she can convince even a hard nut like me just by her actions." Saying that he got up and went to meet other delegates.

Hearing about her like this made me proud of her.
I remember how when the arrival time came I quickly got a hold on my things and shifted to the economy class after requesting the staff. Initially they were suspicious, about how now I want to switch my seat but one glare and call was enough. All the while I was careful that she shouldn't see me. Once I reached the hotel, quickly get changed and was there in the meeting. Once Mr Wong left I joined the other delegates, but with my peripheral view I can see that from the past ten minutes or from the very moment she has entered the hall that petite guy is being troublesome for her. Throughout the ordeal, she seemed visibly uneasy. If it weren't for Mr. Wong's presence, I might have taken matters into my own hands and dealt with him according to my own methods. I was constantly watching them and then there came the moment I was awaiting for she slapped him hard, a slap which echoed in the entire hall. She didn't give a damn to others and simply walked away, with his bodyguard Eric handling the situation. Taking that as a cue I signalled mine and he knew what he has to take care of and  due to all this the meeting got postponed to the following day.  With that I thought why not to practice some boxing today, with a special guest.
Upon arriving at the location, I was relieved to find that Eric and my bouncers had already dealt with the creep who had been causing trouble. With the situation under control, I took a moment to practice a few punches, channeling the remaining adrenaline from the earlier confrontation.

As the authorities arrived to take the culprit into custody, I couldn't shake off the lingering unease from the night's events. The memory of Avni's distressing state haunted me, sending shivers down my spine. It was a stark reminder of the vulnerability that lurked beneath the surface of seemingly ordinary encounters.

By the time I made it back to my room around 1 am, fatigue began to set in, weighing heavily on my shoulders. The combination of adrenaline and anxiety had taken its toll, leaving me drained both physically and emotionally. Reflecting on the evening's events, from the chilling encounter with Avni to the confrontation with the unknown assailant, I couldn't help but feel a sense of exhaustion wash over me.
After I took a shower, I sat down in my study to go over some files. Even though I felt tired and my head was pounding with a migraine, I knew I had to finish my work.

Then, there was a knock on the door. I thought it might be room service with my order. "Come in," I said, assuming it was them. "The door's open."

I asked whoever it was to leave the sandwich on the table. But instead of the room service person, someone else spoke up, saying they weren't who I thought they were.

Avni's Pov:

In the video, Vyom was right beside me, a comforting presence amidst the chaos of my nightmare. His embrace was a sanctuary, a refuge from the storm raging within me. In that moment of vulnerability, he didn't judge or criticize; instead, he offered solace, holding me close in a cocoon of warmth that felt like home.

Despite his own obligations and responsibilities, Vyom dropped everything to be there for me. He didn't hesitate to prioritize my well-being over his own needs, demonstrating a level of care and devotion that left me speechless. Throughout the ordeal, he shielded me from the harsh realities, ensuring that I remained sheltered from the turbulence of the outside world.

As we journeyed to Singapore, Vyom's unwavering vigilance never waned. He stayed by my side, his eyes filled with an indescribable tenderness that spoke volumes without uttering a word. It was a purity of emotion that transcended any past grievances or misunderstandings between us.

And yet, despite his selfless acts of kindness and the undeniable connection we shared. I cannot let this happen again, thus determined to confront the uncertainty head-on, I made my way to his room, bracing myself for a conversation that held the potential to make me more miserable but I was prepared for it.
As he mistook me for room service upon my arrival, I seized the opportunity to assert my presence, breaking the silence with a simple yet profound declaration: "I am not the room service you were waiting for."
