(Even if I am a writer this is coming from my own personal experience and I suggest you watch and read match more things than just this to get a better perspective of everything)
Now let's start with the basics-
There is a very core part of writing, the beginning, middle, climax, and end.
The beginning is where you introduce the characters, there goals, and there fears. Every character needs a goal that they want 5 achieve in some way in the story but there needs to be a fear, a barrier that they have not yet overcame.
The middle is where characters go through growth, we see them through many things and see them grow as they slowly get closer to breaking through there fear and getting to there goal, here is where most things will be going on and most actions will be taking place.
The climax is where they break through there fear and face it head on, the thing you have been building up to for the enter book and finally revealing.
And the end is the aftermath of the climax, where characters are seen after finally getting there goal and achieving things and finishing up anything you've set up beforehand.
I'll go in more depth on these later but for now these are the basics of writing, I'll have many chapters explaining much more.
