Alessia's pov "Hi Miss Abby" "Hi Abs" Me, Hannah and my mom say when we walk through the doors
"Hellooo, guy in the den and we'll start soon" She tells us and we nod walking into the den
We changed and stretch before she called us in
"Girls let's go! Come on, come on, come on. You should all run in here wanting to be first" Miss Abby yelled. I excited for pyramid today since my duet and my solo both got first. However the group didn't win so I'm not sure how Miss Abby is going to feel about that
"All right, so Energy Dance in Waterford, Michigan. Again, you were second. Any other teacher would probably think, overall, high score, second place was wonderful. And now the pyramid" Miss Abby said clapping
"On the bottom, Paige and Brooke. Once again, you're still on probation. You never came to me and said hey, can I enter my solo? Brooke, you should've wanted to do that acrobatic routine. It was beautiful. Next, Nia. Nia, you did a great job on your solo. You made the top ten. But pay attention to the technique. Apply your corrections. Next we have, Chloe. I thought you did great in the group, good job. Next on the pyramid, Maddie. Maddie, you had an outstanding solo. You did a beautiful job on the duet. Next we have Hannah. I thought your solo was very high energy and you applied most of your corrections but not all of them. Maybe that's why you got second. Next is Ale. You won your solo and you won your duet. You got crowned. How many is that now? 11? 12? Keep working great job. And on top of the pyramid this week is MacKenzie. She won the overall high score and was also crowned. Let's give her a round of applause" Miss Abby says and we all clap for Kenzie

"This week, we will be attending Star Power in Woodbridge, Virginia. This is the largest dance competition in the United States. I'm excited about the group dance. I've been preparing it for weeks. Mackenzie and Hannah you both proved your not little babies anymore. You two must be advanced enough to be in the group. I'm not watering down the choreography. You'll be expected to do what everyone else does."
"Maddie you will be doing a routine called "Looking for a place like Home". It's a little spin on there's no place like home, a modern day version. Ale you will also be doing a solo. It is entitled "When she loved me". Chloe, you will also be doing a solo. Your solo is entitled "What Goes Around, Comes Around."
Then Brooke raises her hand and says "This weekend is my first formal school dance and I was wondering if I would be able to go to it."
"I think if I was in your position, I would probably be making a different decision. However, if you have decided that this is something you want to do, far be it for me to keep you from it" Miss Abby tells her "You will not be in the group number this week. You will not be joining us on the trip."
"Thank you" Brooke smiles
"Moms you are dismissed. Thank you very much. Girls, spread apart. We're going to warm up." Miss Abby says and as usual Maddie and I take our places at the front to lead the warmups
