INT/EXT. MORADI SIX - SPACE
The Moradi Six flies through hyperspace. POE DAMERON, REY, FINN, and ROSE TICO sit in the cockpit. POE DAMERON and REY are pilot and co-pilot, while FINN and ROSE TICO sit behind them with BB-8.
FINN
Hey Poe, you've met these people
before. Do you think they'll want
to join us?
POE DAMERON
Well they ignored our call on
Crait, so my guess is no.
REY
If Leia says there's a chance we
have to take it.
ROSE TICO
If the New Republic wasn't fond
of the Resistance before
Starkiller base, maybe they'll be
fond of us now.
FINN
Nobody mention I used to be First
Order, alright. I can't imagine
these people will want to work
with us if they know the truth.
REY
You don't know that.
ROSE TICO
You were taken as a child Finn,
you never had a choice in the
matter. Besides the Resistance
welcomed you with open arms. Just
give them the datapad and you'll
be fine.
The Moradi Six comes out of hyperspace next to a battle-worn Mon Calamari Star Cruiser.
FINN
That's their ship?
POE DAMERON
Yep, that's their ship.
ROSE TICO
It's in terrible condition.
The Moradi Six lands in the hangar of the battle-worn Mon Calamari Star Cruiser and lands. REY, ROSE TICO, and FINN stand up, POE DAMERON does not.
FINN
Poe, are you coming?
POE DAMERON
I think it's best I wait on the
ship.
REY
Leia sent you here for a reason
Poe.
POE DAMERON
Yep, to fly you in and out.
REY gives POE DAMERON a look of disappointment.
REY
That wasn't all.
REY, FINN, ROSE TICO, and BB-8 exit.
CUT TO:
INT. MON CALAMARI STAR CRUISER HANGAR - SPACE
The inside of the Star Cruiser has almost as much wear and tear as the outside. While there are New Republic soldiers walking around, it is not many, as countless battles have started to dwindle their numbers.
In the hangar, GENERAL VOBTIR stands in front of the Moradi Six waiting. GENERAL VOBTIR is an older, almost senile, Mon Calamari male. He served as General in the New Republic but now he's just the General of his Star Cruiser. REY, FINN,
BB-8, and ROSE TICO exit the Moradi Six and meet with GENERAL VOBTIR. FINN is holding a datapad. REY is trying her best to be as professional as possible, but she doesn't know how. REY bows awkwardly.
REY
General Vobtir, I'm Rey, this is
Finn, and Rose Tico, we are here
to...
GENERAL VOBTIR
I don't have time for this child.
Your General says you have
something useful to my cause.
FINN
Ahem. General Vobtir, sir, this
datapad has updated information
on First Order Star Destroyers as
well as their dreadnoughts.
